It should be obvious to all who are tuned in, that our world is going through huge transformaional change.
This new chapter of life for humans on Planet Earth quite arguably began at the Cardinal Grand Cross in April 2014. And all of 2014 and 2015 have expanded our collective experience of this new life season and world we find ourselves in.
This new chapter or season of our lives is similar to the ’60s and ’70s revolutionary period of time. So much is shifting, and people are again having to adjust their consciousness and life to be in step with the changes.
There is a huge push toward big change, similar to the ’60s and ’70s, but of course the quality and experiences of such change is different.
There has been a passionate revival of civil rights issues, the last couple of years for African Americans and for LGBT peoples.
There is a stoking of primal conflictual tensions also, as the Islamic State was fully born at the Cardinal Grand Cross, and then perpetrated many vicious acts in 2014/15.
Many people have been holding on tightly to status quo life stability, while at the same time letting in the changes that cannot be stopped.
And all of this is happening as the Technological revolution has become more and more an important part of everyone’s life. It actually consumes the life and consciousness of more and more people.
And as we look at our political world, as can be in part seen through the approaching primary season for President of the USA, candidates and voter reaction show us a huge transformation going on in our worldviews.
Especially the candidates Donald Trump and Bernie Sanders are revealing the deep dissatisfaction the citizens feel for the current condition of life in the USA.
And don’t be fooled by the statistics showing the economy on solid footing.
It is a mirage, as many people are generally having a rough time of it financially. Two people need to work in most families; college has outrageous costs for young people; and corporate controls of people’s souls and lives is quite apparent.
The world as we have known it has been changing rapidly these last couple of years, and sometimes people are overwhelmed trying to take it all in.
As in the ’60s and ’70s, the Dawning of the Age of Aquarius is awakening more in more in people’s hearts, consciousness and lives, whether they know it or not.
Our individual lives, our country, and our world are transforming at a rapid rate now, and even our sense of time seems to be accelerating.
And now in 2016 we will feel even more fully into this new chapter of our lives, as personal and global changes continue to intensify.
Uranus continues to square Pluto, though not exact anymore; and Saturn continues to square Neptune, with Jupiter in Virgo forming a mutable T-square to Saturn and Neptune.
Uranus squares Pluto, similarly to the Uranus conjunct Pluto aspect that swept us into the ’60s revolution.
Powerful change continues as they continue their transformational dance with one another.
And Saturn square Neptune continues our challenges with boundaries and limits, and continues our trying to balance security with sometimes big changes.
In the greater world that will often take the form of chaotic changes and uprisings being threatening to a sense of security. So then police, military and governmental controls will get stronger and stronger.
Anarchy versus fascism would be the most dramatic expression of this conflict.
The transformation of the global economy will likely require a worldwide crash of the stock market to clear the way this year.
And the rebalancing of power in the world to Diversity in Unity will likely require conflicts intensifying in the world. The Middle East will break apart much more. Europe will face greater threats to its stability as will the USA.
Yet those who are being awakened and are transforming and evolving will also see an unveiling of hidden truths, a reconnection to more magic and synchronicity, and a greater sense of empathy for those who are supposed to be enemies.
A knowing that all is connected and that meaning is everywhere we look is another benefit of the transformation into the Age of Aquarius.
A healing of our human family and our Earth home is another important part of the great changes in our lives in this new season.
And each of us will be more motivated to lead more authentic lives through our jobs, relationships and personal worlds.
It will be another year of great change and a greater acceptance of this new season of our lives.
This coming week, the first full week of 2016, shows three very important shifts: Mercury Retrograde, Jupiter Retrograde and a last quarter Moon leading to the Capricorn New Moon.
Tuesday January 5 Mercury goes Retrograde at 8:06 AM, breaking up the 11 day opening of all planets being Direct. Mercury will stay retrograde until January 25.
As always our perception of reality shifts, as do our communication efforts. There is a rewinding into our past and into past relationships, either in our dreams, our strong memories or in our actual lives.
Some will feel like they are slowly drifting into another reality, like being in a Twilight Zone. And it should go without saying that with all this mental shifting, it would be wise if possible to puAt off any major decisions or important new ventures until Mercury goes back Direct again.
Jupiter goes Retrograde on Thursday January 7. Combined with Sun square Uranus and Moon in Sagittarius , there could be a couple days of greater excitement surrounding that date.
The third shift this week is into the last Quarter phase of the Moon. This last quarter will bring to an end the lunar cycle begun at the New Moon in Sagittarius on December 11.
The last quarter phase of the Moon is always a time of tapering off activity and issues that began at the New Moon.
There is a feeling of “coming down”, and some people get more depressed at such times. But most will just accept that they are on the down slope before the beginnings and renewed energies and actions at the next New Moon.
The New Moon will be on Saturday January 9 at 8:31 PM EST. in Capricorn.
Being in Capricorn it coincides with needs to get back into the world, to discipline oneself more, to meet one’s obligations, to do what one needs to do, to plan more, to accomplish, and to follow a set of rules that one believes in. It is time to take more responsibility for one’s life, and not put the blame on others.
A New Moon in Capricorn shows us our need to set up more solid boundaries and to be able to say no when appropriate.
Capricorn is rules by the planet Saturn, and as such teaches us life lessons, gives karma, rules the hand of time, and brings us wisdom from our mistakes and life lessons and experiences.
So this week will certainly take you off vacation, and thrust you back into the world and reality.
Just please do not take it all too seriously, do not be too strict, and do not (with Mercury going Retrograde) believe everything you see and think, or make any big decisions or major life moves.
