We are moving through a turning point now as we have experienced the New Moon in Sagittarius, Winter Solstice conjunct Saturn and Mercury finally going Direct.
And this was an especially difficult Mercury Retrograde for many, with many people reporting difficulties with electronics and technology, as well as challenges with cars.
Did you also experience people or memories coming back into your life? Did you feel tempted to make big decisions? Did you feel confusion or difficulty in your thinking? Were you challenged in understanding what others communicated to you, or did others have difficulty understanding you? Did you question what you had previously decided or what directions to take in your life?
Well now clarity will begin to form, and if you wait another week or so, you can be more sure that what you are thinking or deciding is correct.
This is a challenging time to be on the Earth in America. We have never experienced a President like Trump. Many are very worried about the direction the USA is taking and what its future will bring.
Trump is part of the downfall of an Empire and Superpower. It is meant to fall as did the other Superpower, the Soviet Union, in the 1990’s.
This is all a clearing of an old paradigm from an old Age. Abuse of Power is its name, and the scandals of sexual power abuse are out in the open here in the United States.
This was part of an old cultural paradigm for relationships between men and women. This is dying too.
Speaking of abuse of power, are you aware of what happened at the UN this last week?
The USA and Trump declared Jerusalem to be the Capital of Israel, effectively denying the Palestinians and Islamic World of their part of Jerusalem, as previously defined by UN resolutions.
UN members last week put out a new resolution condemning Trump’s declaration and reiterating their allegiance to East Jerusalem being the Capital of the Palestinians.
Nikki Haley, diplomatic head of the USA for the UN, threatened to remember who would vote against them in this new resolution. She made it obvious that the USA would consider holding back money from those countries.
Nevertheless, a vast majority of nations still condemned the USA declaration of Jerusalem as only the possession of Israel, with an overwhelming vote against that USA declaration.
It is so important now for each of us to distinguish between healthy empowerment and abuse of power.
Holding power over others to take what you want from them is abuse of power. Using power to destroy others is abuse of power.
Empowering yourself in order to stand up for yourself or stand up for what you believe in is healthy power. And that is important for us to be able to move into a new paradigm and Age of Aquarius.
In using power wisely and appropriately, we are not putting ourselves above others, but we are not putting ourselves below others either.
The Diversity within Unity paradigm needs for power to be distributed amongst people or nations. In that regard we are moving toward a Multi Polar global community of nations, without superpowers or dominating Empires.
Equality, and inalienable rights to self determination preclude any nation from demanding how another nation lives, unless that nation directly injures other nations.
Our capitalistic democracy should not be forced on any other culture or nation. And every nation has a right to defend itself, especially against a country (USA) that has more weapons of mass destruction than anyone else and is the only one to have used them, killing thousands of other humans in Japan to end World War II.
We need to treat other countries as equals, and learn to listen and have dialogue with them. Threatening to destroy them creates an atmosphere that promises violence and destruction. And of course they in turn will threaten to destroy us. Old Paradigm is what needs to be destroyed.
As we move closer to 2018 this coming week, we begin to take in the reality of Saturn moving into Capricorn at the Winter Solstice.
Saturn in Capricorn conjunct the Winter Solstice Sun happened last in 1644, so it is a rare occurrence.
And it is part of the signature of the winter season we have now entered. Collectively we face events this winter that will have a great influence on the direction of our world and human family. Saturn is the hand of time, gravity, strict rules, clear definitions, endings, commitments, and “fated” events.
And also this winter we will experience 2 eclipses: A Lunar Eclipse Full Moon in Leo on January 31, and a Solar Eclipse New Moon in Aquarius on February 15.
That Solar Eclipse will be directly opposite the powerful Total Solar Eclipse from August 2017.
What was begun then will be taken to the next level this winter 2018 Eclipse Season.
This week Venus moves out of Sagittarius and conjuncts that Saturn in Capricorn on Monday Christmas Day.
We may experience in our relationships a deeper sense of reality or acceptance of what we cannot deny anymore. This could have an effect on family situations this holiday.
Also on Christmas Day the Moon will be in Pisces, a good sign to be able to feel Christ consciousness, an ability for empathy and compassion for others.
We also continue this week to be in the waxing half of the lunar cycle that began at the Sagittarius New Moon last week.
The waning last half begins on New Year’s Day January 1, at the Full Moon in Cancer, to be followed the next day by Uranus turning Direct. We of course will talk more about that next week.
