We are now in the last quarter of the lunar cycle begun at the New Moon Solar Eclipse Grand Cross on July 1. The new cycle begins at the Leo New Moon next Saturday July 30. The Sun is already in Leo. When the Moon meets it on July 30, that forms the New Moon.
So, it is time during this last quarter moon phase to more fully wind down energies that were so intensified during the eclipse season. We are in a new consciousness, a new chapter of our life journey. The power of the storm has passed, we have since been viewing the aftermath, gaining clarity and direction. We may still need to do more reflection on what has been happening to us and our lives. And it is time to prepare, to get ready to move forward into this new chapter after the New Moon in creatively expressive Leo.
You hopefully let go of another layer of your connection to old ways and old patterns during the eclipse season. Even if your lessons were difficult, they were meant to assist you in releasing your old fears, and also releasing your old illusions of how life or people or your self is supposed to be. Those illusions are what limit you from your authentic self and authentic living and your deeper soul.
Fairy tales keep you chained to the old world of princes and princesses, and keep you from true intimacy with others, from true love, from the real beauty of nature and the Universe.
When we expect ourselves or others to meet some idealized image, we set our selves up for disappointment and dis-illusion. Astrology teaches us that we were each created with a certain DNA type soul blueprint. Society’s idolizing of celebrity and royalty and living up to any images of how it best to be, only serves to deflate authentic self esteem and instead keep us locked in false ego.
Our society is based on giving rewards to people who meet up to what society needs them to be. If you were not made to be what society or your family admires, then you will dislike your self, get depressed or anxious, and perhaps try your whole life to live up to something not aligned with who you really are.
The new age, based on the sign Aquarius, is about honoring true individuality, an individuality that is honored and respected. It is from this authenticity that true community contribution comes from. This is because the person is contributing from a place of authenticity. From that place they will feel self respect and a real sense of purpose, as they are serving the function that is natural to them.
Relationships are the same way. If each of us is true to our self and how we are made, then we will naturally attract to our self someone who is just right for us. That is nature. If we have expectations for our selves or others to live up to some image, then we will always be disappointed. The disillusions so many of us have been experiencing is to help us to release these true-self defeating patterns that keep us constantly connecting with people who are not right for us.
This is true transformation. It is letting go of old patterns and beliefs that were programmed into us from a culture and paradigm connected to an old age. Since we as a human family are on the cusp between Ages, and closer and closer to the full Aquarian Age, transformational possibilities are accelerating. We can move through our issues faster.
These most powerful eclipse seasons, more powerful than most, help us to align with our true self and align more fully with the Universe and its natural cycles and energies.
Each release of an old image or belief or pattern that is not connected to your true self or the natural rhythms of the Universe, and instead is part of the programs and dillusions set up by your family of origin and the culture, helps you to find a more satisfying life.
So use this week before the New Moon in Leo to prepare yourself to move forward without the burden of old baggage that is weighing you down. Release the old disappointments and regrets. Your life begins anew, with more promise to live your life while connected to your soul and authentic self. You are more ready to attract to your self that which is in alignment with that true self. And that which is in alignment will bring you true enjoyment.
There will be a shift in perceptions as Mercury goes retrograde- a week from Tuesday- August 2 late in the evening. You may at times during the retrograde period feel you are getting taken off your course. Allow your mind to question and to go through its process during the retrograde period from August 2 to August 26. Do not to jump to any conclusions during that period. Wait for renewed clarity after that period is over. Often people from your past come back to visit during Mercury Retrograde, for real or in your dreams or memories. This is meant to make you question and reflect on your current state of relationship and being. Again do not jump to conclusions.
In the Greater World, this New Moon in Leo will open up a new chapter of living on Planet Earth for humanity, a new chapter after the shakeup of the eclipse sesaon.
What will happen this week, before that new moon, with the debt ceiling in the USA? This challenge, timed so well with the eclipse season, must be profoundly important to our passage into an Aquarian Age. This economic challenge will show us how our USA and worldwide economy is tranforming.
Will the USA default on its debt or will it pull out a last second agreement? No matter if it is settled or not, it is showing us the dysfuntionality of our government and the likelihood of an economic disaster on the way. Mercury going Retrograde on the day the default deadline portends a crazy and chaotic transition for the economy.
The terror attack on Norway, that was done by a white Christian citizen of Norway hopefully changes the discussion about terrorism. It is not about Islam being the demon we need to be at war with.
Terrorism is and always has been about the hatreds between peoples of differing beliefs and lifestyles. It is about not accepting this multicultual and multifaceted and diverse world we live in. We have been programmed to make certain people and ways of life superior to others, and worse yet for some- to hate those not living up to certain standards.
The Aquarian Age is about Diversity in Unity, about honoring all peoples and their ways of life. It is here inside you, and can be accessed more and more as you shed the old ways, old beliefs and illusions.
