Moon is darkening all week long, and the lunar phase is officially in its last quarter on Monday August 30. That means the Sun in Virgo will be square to the Moon in Gemini that day.
Virgo/Gemini combination brings out much mental/nervous system energies.
Be careful not to get too bogged down with details and obsessive thinking to figure something out. That Virgo/Gemini combination can feel rather negative at times.
4th quarter lunar cycle ends on Labor Day September 6 with a New Moon in Virgo.
Many people experienced increased stress last week as the Delta variant has slowed the process of moving forward from Covid.
Also last week the USA began to withdraw from Afghanistan, and as that was happening, a terrorist bombing in Kabul killed many people. A group affiliated with ISIS is said to be responsible.
The USA and world have been tossed into much unrest since the Saturn/Pluto conjunction in January 2020. Covid, racial unrest, economic troubles, and Middle Eastern unrest have all intensified since then.
For me, the most troubling part of all this is the splitting apart of the world, and the splitting apart in the USA.
The issue of vaccinations has become a political football. The culture war that was extremely intense during the Trump administration, has been intensifying again.
Everyone is judging anyone who sees it differently and/or acts differently. Demonizing those who see things differently is rampant again.
Remember that we have entered the Age of Aquarius, which stands for Diversity Within Unity. In this case the diversity of opinion on vaccinations is far from finding Unity.
That is only possible if one side can have some respect for the opinion and position of the other side.
War happens when there is no ability to empathize or respect opposition opinion and stance.
Afghanistan is just the tip of the iceberg in the Middle East. Israel/Palestine/Iran present an even bigger challenge to our world now.
Diversity Within Unity happens as we get more fully involved in this New Age, but it is obviously not an easy place to get to in many situations.
We each are being challenged in our own consciousness and life to open to the new ways of thinking and feeling, aligned with consciousness of a New Age.
If you believe strongly in vaccination now, as you believe that we all need to get together in community to defeat the Virus, can you stretch your empathy to understand others who believe we are all being controlled by Powers That Be to submit to their control. They have a 1984 view of the situation. And many also do not trust what is being put in our bodies.
If you strongly believe that we need to continue to have individual choice in a free country and world, and are free to say no to a vaccination we do not trust; can you open your mind and heart to understand others who are afraid of this Virus, which is Real and Deadly. They who also believe we need to come together in community to defeat this Killer Virus.
Can you see the potential Diversity Within Unity that occurs when both sides come together with mutual respect?
The Age of Aquarius moves away from the belief there is only one way, one answer, a savior; it believes instead that there are many roads to finding Truth and Love and anything else important.
September is a time for fixing and healing and searching. And Mercury goes Retrograde in late September through mid October.
Then in mid October Mercury, Jupiter, Saturn and Pluto all go back Direct, initiating and activating us all for the adventures and challenges of Eclipse Season in November and December.
Our lives will begin to change in really big ways starting then.
