This week we come to the end of Summer Eclipse Season 2018. So energetically there is less force and power pushing us to transform and change.
Yet there will be more in the way of important events to follow, because what has been “shaken up”, “broken down” and “broken through” during transformational Eclipse Season, (as also Mars and Mercury were Retrograde), is now being collected, put together and being decided.
Especially since Mars went Direct, the movement now is toward action and manifestation.
And that means events, that are the natural result of the recent transformation that has brought us all into this new era or chapter of our lives, are ready to unfold.
These important events will begin to define this new chapter.
In the greater world, there is so much that is simmering on the edge of the cliff of big change.
The Middle East is so on the edge of jumping off into major conflict. Russia, Iran, Hamas, Iraq, and Syria are joining together. The USA, Israel, and Saudi Arabia are running counter to those countries. Something is close to breaking open. Many other countries will be choosing sides as a result.
North Korea and the USA are breaking apart from their Summit’s agreements. China, Japan, and South Korea are greatly affected by th.
China is in a trade war with the USA, who is also in a trade war with many of its allies. The world’s stock markets and economies are dependent on world trade.
There is a serious culture war going on in the USA, and that culture war is separating families, just like happened in the Civil War in the USA
The Mueller investigation is now picking up steam and appears headed for eventual impeachment proceedings.
All of these issues are looking down from that cliff’s edge.
And when it all breaks open, which is a big part of this new era, our world will change and transform in ways that facilitate the consciousness for the Age of Aquarius.
Many who read this have already begun transforming their consciousness and lives in ways that align with this New Age.
And many others will wake up and join the wave of change as our world transforms.
But of course others will get more dug in to the consciousness and ways of the old world paradigm.
That resistance to the new world will cause much turmoil and distress to our world, but it actually is part of the natural process of transformation.
In your own life, when you have been motivated to transform your life through ending of relationships, or jobs, or whatever felt secure; you know you had to move through your own resistance to that change.
And this is a changing of Ages, an enormous earth shaking event for our human family.
Of course there is resistance, especially from those who have known privilege in the old world. But like it or not, the new age is inevitable. We can go kicking and screaming or we can instead allow the grace of the Universe to take us forward.
Death of the old is usually feared, and birth of the new can feel so filled with chaos and fear of the unknown.
But the new can also be filled with such feelings of liberation, hope, and joy. It can bring a clean slate, one that can be filled with new intention and purpose.
Just after we experienced Mercury and Mars going Direct at the end of Eclipse Season, two iconic figures of our collective past died: John McCain and Aretha Franklin.
Death can bring feelings of love and affection for what or who has passed. The old age and paradigm were not all bad. For most they contained many great memories and many people with whom we shared love.
This week we move through the 4th and last quarter of the Moon, which begins with the Moon in Gemini Sunday September 2.
This last quarter of the lunar cycle, which shows our Moon slowly losing its light, which people all over the globe will experience together, effectively brings an end to Summer Eclipse Season 2018.
In the middle of this light dimming week, Saturn changes direction from Retrograde to Direct on September 6.
Saturn, the symbolic gravity of the hand of time, tells us as it moves direct that there is no running away from time. And the clock, as Saturn goes Direct, is starting up again, another sign of forward movement for our collective and personal lives.
Then three days later, on September 9 at 2:01 PM EDT, there is the New Moon in Virgo that symbolically begins in reality our new chapter.
It is time to know the changes are real, not just academic or conceptual.
Virgo makes things real, though sometimes that reality is just seeing the glass as half empty instead of half full.
So it will be important now to discern if your attitude is reflective of a need to come down to reality to face the truth, or instead is it a heavy dose of pessimism?
Nevertheless, it is time at this New Moon in Virgo to ground, simplify, and humbly move forward toward manifesting what has only previously been imagined.
For some it will be a time to fix what has been broken, mend what has been torn apart, and heal what has been suffered.
On a mundane level, many people after the Virgo New Moon go to doctors or dentists or mechanics, etc.
Others feel a need to get down to work and to put more order into their lives.
Virgo time also can bring some people to more worry and stressful self criticism. If the criticism moves you to make needed changes that is good. But if that criticism is not constructive, and instead stresses you to the point of self hatred and/or depression or passivity, it is not right.
It is also end of summer in the northern hemisphere, as Autumn Equinox is only a couple weeks away. So the Virgo New Moon represents another ending, but also a transition month into the beauty and grace of Autumn.
There are so many temptations in life now that tend to take us away from what is natural. Our devices, our tightly scheduled lives, our sitting down inside our homes and places of work all tend to keep us from what is natural and from our own nature.
Astrology is an extension of nature, a reading of the natural cycles and energies of life.
It can help us to be more a part of what is natural, but it also takes an effort to cross the threshold out of our self contained bubbles of existence, and into the “out of our control” movement of natural forces both inside and outside ourselves. The effort is worth it.
