We enter Eclipse Season this week, as it begins at the Leo New Moon Sunday July 23 at 5:46 AM EDT.
There will be more pop to this Leo New Moon than the usual Leo New Moon because Mars is conjunct that New Moon.
Mars will stay in the spotlight most all this week, as it continues conjunction with the Sun through mid week.
Leo New Moon seeks to bring us to opening our hearts to “in the moment” creative space. Leo is energetically at its best when it is unselfconscious and thus spontaneously shining expressively from the heart.
This is not the Venus part of the heart which seeks to make relationship. The Solar (Sun is the ruler of Leo) heartspace is about pure self expression. Of course Leo does want to influence people, but relationship is not its priority.
At its worst Leo looks in the proverbial mirror to admire itself, and then its pure expression is tainted by being self conscious. At its very worst its’ gaze at its’ reflection creates narcissism.
Leo is like a very young child who spontaneously expresses itself, wants to have fun, and gazes over its shoulder to see if people are looking and admiring her.
So with Mars in Leo conjunct the New Moon in Leo, a healthy response is to be open hearted in expression, having fun, and being naturally creative by being spontaneously “in the moment”. Creative endeavors and projects get the green light after this.
The Mars part of this formation brings more force to the expression, more self assertion and being true to self.
The Mars conjunct Leo New Moon can also bring more conflict, more harshness, and more forceful egocentricity.
On the world stage big egos will strut and challenge other big egos to a duel, which in the modern world can bring dangerous conflicts or wars.
In past writing I have shown all the Mars aspects coming with this Eclipse Season, especially around August 21, at the Total Solar Eclipse in Leo.
The natal Mars of Trump, Netanyahu, and Israel will be in extremely close conjunction with that Eclipse.
For the USA, Saturn changing directions will be in very close aspect to the USA natal Mars in Gemini, which is quite close to Trump’s Sun in Gemini. This will be around the time of the Total Solar Eclipse.
And North Korea and Syria’s natal charts have very close conjunctions to this Eclipse also.
For the next couple of months there is a strong possibility of major conflict breaking out in our world, a conflict that could have a domino effect on many countries.
This is not for sure, but bears close attention. And after this Leo New Moon on the 23rd, we will be able to see what potential outbreaks become more likely.
Issues could fizzle, it is true, but also there is strong possibility something will be ignited, much stronger than usual.
Many of my readers have known for awhile of this time. We will be challenged, so we can upgrade our consciousness and talents. Then we will be ready to make our contribution to our human family, as it faces its great challenges.
The “old gods” from an old paradigm are flexing their muscles and digging in, so they and their paradigm can continue. They use fear, shame, and guilt to keep us stuck in the old world. They will try to trigger our rage and hatred toward others in order to keep them in power.
The new gods and goddesses, so to speak, bring love and truth with them, motivating us to more pure self expression and more clarity of purpose for our new age.
They show us that all and everyone is connected in unity, diversity within unity for the Age of Aquarius.
We will need to keep our energy portals, our chakras, open to the new energies, new consciousness, to more love and light.
It will be part of our personal challenge to combine our love with our own power. We must get over the fear of our own power, as love without personal power and truth is weak and diffuse.
This is not power over anyone, but instead personal empowerment that has the force and passion to stand strong and vital and to meet the challenges thrown our way.
I know many of you have been recently undecided and unclear about making decisions and choosing direction for your life.
We have apparently been waiting for the outbreak and awakening to happen, that which changes all our lives.
This is either that time now, or it is the trigger to open the passageways for that which is close to becoming reality soon.
Or maybe this time we come close to outbreak, then back off and diffuse the energies of combat for now.
No matter what happens, we are in this Eclipse Season at a major turning point in our collective human lives and evolution.
Concentrate at this Leo New Moon on opening your heart and solar plexus, expressing your authentic self, and empowering yourself.
The day before this New Moon, the day of this New Moon, and the day after, with the Moon dark; you have much power to visualize, to create, to make strong intention and prayer.
Late Wednesday the 26th of July, Mars is conjunct the Sun in Leo. This gives your self expression, self honoring, and empowerment a jolt of energy and vitality. Do not be afraid of your power or ego.
You have grown enough to be able to integrate it with all that you are. If you are committed to your higher soul self as your guide and leader, then your ego will serve it not dominate it.
On Monday July 24 Venus will oppose Saturn. That means we are ready to set strong boundaries in our relationships, and ready to end relationships or its dysfunctional relationship patterns. We are also ready to make relationship commitments, if that is appropriate at this time.
On July 25 Mercury (mind and communication) leaves creative Leo, and enters analytical Virgo. On August 12, while still in Virgo, Mercury goes Retrograde.
It will be Retrograde when the Total Solar Eclipse in Leo forms. It goes back direct on September 5, while still in Eclipse Season.
So get your motor running this weekend at the Leo New Moon, then get moving forward this week.
