The dust is clearing on a most intense Eclipse season. We experienced a rare Lunar Eclipse on the winter solstice 2010, and then a strong Solar Eclipse New Moon on January 4- just after the new year of 2011 began. As is usual for eclipses, people were shaken up out of their normal rhythms. Breakdowns occurred for some, new breakthroughs happened for some also. At the least most recognized that they cannot do their life like they have been accustomed to do it. The old ways are not working anymore, or have gotten rather stale, or have kept them is less than healthy and functional states of being.
It is time to move on. And in 2011 moving on into new territory will happen whether you are ready or not. 2010 set the table of change. 2011 the main meal arrives.
This winter may be challenging for some, as they grieve over times past, over people who have left or are leaving our lives. The Capricorn New Moon Solar Eclipse of January 4 sets in motion our knowing that we must change our lives, let go of the past, and now begin to plan a new season of our life story.
Capricorn is about the building and implementing of the plan. One knows one needs to have discipline, organization, and commitment in order to make the plan work. One needs to let go of of old habits and addictions that preclude being able to make the plan work. It is meaningful that New Year’s always begins during Capricorn time of year, as we make resolutions to change our ways.
And this year the Capricorn energy is stronger than usual, as the New Moon in Capricorn this year was a Solar Eclipse also. And Solar Eclipses are always new moons, as Lunar Eclipses are always full moons. Solar Eclipses are much more powerful new moons. So the Capricorn message is much more powerful this year than usual. It is time to “get down to business”, to “get it together”, to get your life to work better.
It is interesting, though tragic, that around the Capricorn New Moon Eclipse of January 4 it was reported that thousands of birds were falling from the sky in Louisiana, Arkansas, and Sweden. Most were blackbirds and crow-like birds. Also it was reported that millions of fish were swept on shore dead in places around the world. Capricorn is ruled by the planet Saturn, the planet of seriousness, limitation and Gravity.
The Earth creatures that are least affected by gravity are birds and secondly fish. And the Saturn ruled Capricorn Solar Eclipse was occurring as the birds and fish were reported dying.
To me the message is not to fly too high now, so to speak. Keep your proverbial feet on the ground. Make grounded and well thought out plans. If you get inspired, make those inspirations practical and workable, not just “pie in the sky”.
In February, after Jupiter goes back into Aries and the next lunar cycle begins, then it will be time to put some wings back on again. Change will be big this year 2011, but for now it is time to “lay low” and make the practical plan. It is also time to get the body of your life in order. Build healthy structure, build healthy emotional boundaries. Keep energies and people that bring toxicity and old dysfunctional patterns into your life- out of your life for now.
In the greater world 2010 brought shakeups of the old ways, and challenges for change, but the flood of real change has not come in yet. It will in 2011 and 2012.
As triggers are ignited from the Cardinal t-square and Grand Cross of 2010, big events will occur. Potentially huge war almost broke out during the eclipse season, between North and South Korea. This is still a most unstable situation, as is the Middle East and the world economy. As Jupiter enters the early signs of cardinal Aries in late January and early February, there is possibility of world eruptions. As Uranus enters early Aries in late March and April, more triggers occur and more potential for volcanic eruptions of change.
It is time in 2011 to commit your self to a new season for your life story. Break the chains that bind you, let go and let yourself expand and grow and evolve. The structures of our old world will be breaking apart and new energies and ideas will be blasting through our minds and lives.
Pain will be proportionate to how much you are holding on to the old ways.
But for now, take it slow, stay low, make the plans. Get your body and life in order. Stay aligned with your true and deeper soul self. Stay aligned with the Universe and its natural cycles and seasons. As the bigger changes arrive you will “be in tune”.
Birds are falling from the sky, an omen of grave seriousness now. The old world is toxic and its old corruption needs to end. Ugly world events are on the way.
The new world is fresh and alive and waiting in the wings, excuse the pun. An Aquarian Age is upon us.
