Sunday November 17 at 10:16 AM ushers in a strong Scorpio/Taurus Full Moon. This Full Moon brings a potential resolution and/or climax to what was opened up at the Solar Eclipse New Moon in Scorpio on November 3.
In fact this lunation brings with it a potential resolution for the whole Autumn Eclipse season. Between this Full Moon and the next New Moon in Sagittarius on December 2, there should be clarity and a sense of direction gained after all the intensity and shakeup of Autumn Eclipse Season 2013.
This Full Moon in Scorpio/Taurus is not an easy one for many people, and the energies may feel dark or heavy at times, and there may also be an intensity that affects our relationships and attitudes. For some there may be inner or relational “tugs of war” as we work out issues from recent times and get ready to move into new phases of our life.
Though this week may not bring much upliftment, we are given the opportunity to get ourselves back “together” again.
The eclipses, Uranus/Pluto, and Mercury Retrograde tended to shake things up, reveal what has been held back or covered up, have us rethink our positions or beliefs, and perhaps even shift our direction.
Now with the Scorpio/Taurus Full Moon giving signature to our coming week, we are brought to an inner place of needing to be more real and practical, more in touch with a grounded sense of what may have been previously only known in our intellects.
With so many planets now in Scorpio or Earth signs like Virgo, it has been “cleanup time” both in our physical world and our inner emotional reality. It has been and continues to be a time to release old “stuff” in our homes, bodies, and our consciousness. This cleanup will help us to open ourselves to new experience and new adventures in our lives.
For now use this week and the waning Moon that begins after the Full Moon on the 17th, to come down to reality, to find the truth, and to repair or release what has broken down.
If you have been getting more clarity since Mercury went back Direct on November 10, that clarity will be more full as Mercury this week gets back to speed.
If you feel there has been some dis-illusion over the last several weeks, perhaps some awakening and enlightenment has accompanied this loss of illusion. Accepting our selves and our lives as they are in reality builds a foundation built on truth.
From that place of truth, you can then use inspiration and positive energies to bring you the life that actualizes your full authentic potential.
You do not have to “live in a dream world” to be happy. Often our creation of a fantasy world inside is a direct compensation for the pain, suffering and abuse we have experienced.
But if we truly want to transform our abuse patterns, our feelings of victimization, our low self esteem and expectation of failure, we need to release those pain patterns, but also the illusions that were created to help us “get through the night”.
Those two opposite attitudes are two sides of the same coin, and our soul’s transformation and healing journey needs release of the whole pattern.
So let this week bring you to more cleaning out and more facing of deeper realities. But to balance some of the “gravity”, there will be some upliftment toward the end of the week, as the Sun goes into Sagittarius late on Thursday November 21.
Sagittarius is like a fireplace lit brightly on a dark night. It is a mutable fire sign that inspires, brings meaning and faith, and expands our perspective to give a bigger picture.
Sagittarius seeks answers and a “certain way”, and expects people to take the “higher ground” to lead upstanding lives. It does attempt to see the best in people and life, and usually has strong opinions of how things should be. It loves to learn “higher knowledge”, philosophy or spirituality especially, and loves taking new adventures that bring that knowledge.
Like all signs it has its weaknesses too. Sag trusts its intuition and can leap into situations it regrets later. It can also, as a genuine and spontaneous expresser, say things it later regrets. Also it can be so uplifted and excited as a free spirit that it loses its grounding and forgets it is in a body. Also it can sometimes not understand how people can do things or have attitudes other than the idealistic way Sag envisions.
When the Moon joins the Sun in Sagittarius on December 2, that will bring a New Moon in Sagittarius, and then we will all be prompted to new inspirations and adventures, to finding meaning and solutions, to seeing our lives from a wider perspective, with positive thoughts and feelings and greater faith. That will bring us into a new chapter beyond the Autumn Eclipse Season.
New events will be the result, based on our experiences during the Autumn Eclipse Season.
Also around the time of the New Moon in Sagittarius there will be a new comet, Comet Ison, making its appearance in our human Earth world. It may be quite bright or have faded and died from its close encounters with the Sun.
If it is a meaningful Comet appearance, we can expect world events both spectacular and powerful.
The issue of Iran and the world’s powers coming together over Iran’s nuclear program will be front and center. What happens with that issue will greatly affect the Middle East and the world, especially Israel.
Ironically and hypocritically, the powers who are negotiating with Iran to rid itself of even the possibility of creating nuclear weapons, all have such weapons. Even Israel has nuclear weapons of mass destruction.
Of course the only reality that would truly help our world is that all of these countries rid themselves of weapons of mass destruction, not just Iran and Syria.
We are moving faster and faster into an Age of Aquarius, and it is essential in that journey for the idea of “us versus them”, of survival of the fittest struggles to have what you want for your self at the expense of others- to end.
We are moving inexorably into a world of equality, of Diversity in Unity, of liberation. Power and responsibility for the world will shift to be in the hands of “the people”.
This is our world, not a world to be run by the rich and entitled.
Events will continue to erupt in out world that bring us all to know we are all ONE Family, no matter our differences. And only then will we heal ourselves and our sacred Earth in the Age of Aquarius.
