From Dark to Light and Astrology Forecast December 15-21

By Leo Knighton Tallarico

Moving further into Eclipse Season now, and a week closer to our first actual eclipse:  A Solar Eclipse New Moon at just over 4 degrees of Capricorn.

That Solar Eclipse New Moon will be followed by a Lunar Eclipse Full Moon in Cancer at just over 20 degrees on January 10, 2020.

Saturn will be almost exactly conjunct Pluto in Capricorn that day making the Full Moon super important. Saturn will be exactly conjunct Pluto on January 12.

And back to the Lunar Eclipse on January 10, that same day has Uranus in Taurus at 2+ degrees changing direction from Retrograde to Direct,  making Uranus’ break out and break through energies more powerful than usual.

From now to the middle of Winter is a big turning point in human affairs here on Earth.  This Eclipse Season is even more important than the usual Eclipse Season which is always important.

Some will experience this Eclipse Season as a time of crossroad decisions, and each of us, if tuned in properly, will recognize the importance of this time period.

In individual lives, there are many breakthroughs in consciousness, seeing things from a new perspective, breaking away and liberating oneself from stuck places in the mind and heart.

So often we get stuck between 2 apparent possibilities we need to choose from. And it can be very stressful trying to figure out what to believe or what to do.

Uranus going back Direct now helps that decision making. Uranus is great at having us see outside the box of those two ways of looking at things. Often suddenly the light goes on and we see that those two choices have been very limited.

New possibilities and choices show themselves, as we are being liberated by Uranus’ inventive genius.

And with Saturn/Pluto and 2 eclipses, we have powerful tools of transformation we can use to move our lives forward.

Endings of one sort or another are in the cards for many people this Eclipse Season, and those endings can  be combined with very intense circumstances now. We need endings of old cultural models of behavior.

Look at our world right now.   The way politicians do business in the USA is all about money, ambition, and fighting to win.  Concern for the community as a high priority has been tossed aside since corporations were given such power in our system.

And the downing of systems, institutions, or other government structures is high on the list of what needs to transform into something more connected with the needs of our human community and Earth home.

Pluto in the next few years will be experiencing its first USA Pluto Return at 27+ degrees of Capricorn. This is from Natal chart of birth of USA on July 4 1776.

The Military/Industrial Complex running our country and much of the rest of the world is beginning to decay and unravel.  What is happening planetarily during this new Eclipse Season will show us more of what is coming down in that process.

Watch especially signs from the stock market, economy, military and police affairs- all that represents the Military Economic Empire.

In personal lives, days are darkening now, from both a lunar and solar point of view.  Since the Full Moon in Gemini this past week, the lunar cycle is in its dwindling waning half of the cycle- moon getting darker every day until the Solar Eclipse New Moon in Capricorn on the 26th.

And the Solar cycle finds us waiting for the Winter Solstice, the darkest day of the year. It is on December 21.

Moods can be very affected by the nature of our seasons, cycles and planetary movements. The darkening of our lunar and solar cycles can mean depression for some or sadness or seeing the glass of our lives as half empty now.

For this week, on Sunday there is a Jupiter trine Uranus aspect that is a wake-up call of some sort for our personal lives and the life of our country and world.  This could be a nice motivating energy for people who feel stuck or depressed.

The last quarter of the lunar cycle begins on Wednesday with the Moon in Virgo.  The Moon will keep darkening until the New Moon Solar Eclipse in Capricorn on the 25th/26th.

On Friday December 20, Venus leaves Capricorn and enters Aquarius, where it will stay until January 13 when it enters Pisces.

In Aquarius Venus gets more into mind and social consciousness.  It is not very one -on one oriented, more concerned with group dynamics and social issues.

Then on Saturday the 21st, we enter one of four seasonal annual turning points: Winter Solstice at 11:19 PM EST.

Winter Solstice shows us the darkest time of year, but then that opens up the way for the light to begin to get stronger every day. It is the return of the light time, and Christ having his birthday at Christmas was very likely a result of the knowledge of the light returning on the darkest day of the year.

That signifies hope for a better day, and that better day is Spring Equinox when the growing light becomes equal in time to the dark.

Winter Solstice it is a good time to get in touch with the depths of one’s soul, of any sadness or angst that resides there.

This year Jupiter is conjunct the Winter Solstice. The Solstice begins at 0 degrees of Capricorn.  Jupiter that day is at 4+ degrees of Capricorn.  That makes hope more accessible as we turn to more light that Winter Solstice Day.

The first eclipse is only a few days after the Winter Solstice, so change is being felt by many now.

The Sun is in Capricorn at the Solstice and of course stays there for 31 days.  Capricorn is best making goals to be achieved, being busy with accomplishment, being its own taskmaster.

It sets a goal, like building something.  Then is makes a plan on how to accomplish the goal.  It then is expert at organizing, discipline, and taking responsibility.  It is good at creating structure or following the rules of an already built structure. It is good at making boundaries.

So at this time of year it is good to make resolutions, which is what  people do on January 1,  still Capricorn time of year.

The old structures and rules of our culture need transformational change.  This  Eclipse month will help us to do so.

I start my journey this week of driving to our new home in Sedona.  Should arrive there on Winter Solstice.  I got in touch this week with the love I have for the people in the area of Portland Maine.  Thank you so much for some of the best 16 years of my life.

Deborah and I got clear messages from spirit that it was time to move on, and we are very excited to enter our New Chapter in Sedona Arizona.

Till next week,

Leo
