Tides are beginning to shift this week out of the recent doldrums. Early in the week Jupiter squares Uranus, activating the Cardinal T-square and bringing energies intended to awaken us from any slumber we have drifted into.
Mercury will also be awakening our sense of clarity as it finally goes back Direct this coming Friday February 28 at 9 AM EST. If full clarity and direction have not been found yet at that time, wait a few days for Mercury to get close to its usual speed. Then this Twilight Zone mind frame you have been experiencing will be lifted from its fog of uncertainty.
You will then feel more confident to make decisions and make plans. That will be especially true after the New Moon in Pisces on March 1 at 3 AM EST, as a feeling of new beginnings gets sparked in our consciousness.
That does not mean it is time to move fast forward. This New Moon is in Pisces, so the new beginnings are to be found more in your consciousness than in your actions.
There is a new day dawning, and spring is getting closer. The alarm clock is ringing for you to get up, but metaphorically speaking you will need time to shower, do some stretches, and get a good breakfast before taking on the world.
Getting out in full action in the world will happen later in March, after the New Moon in Aries on March 30.
That new moon will trigger the Spring Eclipse Season 2014, a more powerful than usual Eclipse Season as it will also contain an exact Cardinal Grand Cross. That Cardinal Grand Cross will contain the exact Uranus/Pluto square within it, and transformational energies will be especially strong. There will be only two more exact passes of Uranus square Pluto, one in December 2014 and the last one in March 2015.
The one this April that is part of the Cardinal Cross is the most important pass of all. It is pointed right on the USA natal Sun from its birth on July 4 1776.
This spring represents a major turning point for the world and especially for America. This does not necessarily mean that everything will change drastically at that time. It does mean, however, that the “writing will be on the wall” of our awareness, showing us more clearly where our human train is headed and what will be needed to clear the way into the Age of Aquarius.
We have been talking about chaos versus order being a major theme now and most especially this coming spring and summer.
You can get a taste of this by watching the dramas unfold in Ukraine. Opposition forces have been trying to break down the current government and the government has been using quite forceful methods to keep the order. Chaos and order have been intertwined with one another. As a backdrop, Russia and Western powers are fighting for influence there.
There will likely be big breakdowns coming to the structures in the USA soon, and as a result there will be quite forceful means to keeping the status quo and order. Whether this happens in the form of a stock market crash or terrorism or an outbreak of war between Israel and Iran or something else is not certainly known.
It is also possible that more surprising events could break open. What is important is that the world as we know it is not viable anymore. It is run by a paradigm that does not honor love or trust or truth, that does not see all of us as connected, that does not search for solutions that will heal our Earth or human family.
Winning, wealth, celebrity, and power are the values most promoted in our culture. Fear and feelings of failure, hopelessness, ego problems, anxiety, depression, and separation are the results for many.
Just look at our politics for instance. The Netflix drama “House of Cards” shows in an exaggerated and dramatic way the values of our culture. Winning is everything and at all costs, and the ends justify the means.
On news talk shows there is much talk already of who will win the presidency in 2016. There is so little talk about issues or values, and if they are discussed it is in the context of the other side being painted as enemies.
Where are the leaders who care most about bringing us all together as one, not only in our own country but all over the world? Where are the leaders more concerned about healing our Earth and human family than about corporate profits or victory?
Hey I do like sports, but they are only games. Our political system treats what should be a discussion of what will be best for our community into a game of winning versus losing, with losing candidates shamed and winning candidates treated like heroes.
Yes this system and its paradigm need to come down. How can we live in a world where CEO’S earn million of dollars a year while other people work for $10/hour? How can we maintain a world where people who play the game right, are the most selfish, and kiss the right asses are rewarded with wealth and privilege, while others who tell the truth, are talented and bright, and care about doing what is right and working hard struggle just to survive?
How can we live much longer in a world that puts so many of its citizens in prison? Can it be so many people are just plain bad or evil? Or can it be that we have created a world that punishes those who have a difficult time fitting in or caring about themselves?
To make this point did you know that 65% of male to female and 29% of female to male transgender people have spent time in jail? Both those figures are much higher than the general population.
As painful as it is to imagine this society breaking down, what is the alternative? To keep the status quo of an unfair and corrupt world structure?
Everyone is not connected to their authentic soul self or to the Universe, have not broken out of the programming of a fear based, ego based, power and greed based, guilt based society.
Yes we can each continue to walk our spiritual path, being an example for others, shining a light wherever we walk. But there are many who are mentally ill or imprisoned, handicapped in some way, not privy to new consciousness, buried in fear and only able to see the world through the eyes of its programs and rules.
In my estimation it will take important and dramatic world events to transform the collective consciousness well enough so we can heal this Earth, our home in time.
Each time there is a powerful set of planetary configurations, as there is this spring and summer, there is a spike in earth shaking energies that are intended to break down the old and open the doors and windows to new consciousness for a new age.
Let us pray that these divine, natural energies will bring change as graceful as possible to our world.
