One or the other of the two main relationship and communication planets have been retrograde since March 4. This week when Mercury goes back Direct again, both will be back in their usual forward motion.
Mercury is a planet of mind and communication. As many of you have experienced, when Mercury is retrograde we may readjust our thinking and perceptions, rethink the directions in life we have chosen, and rewind to previous times in our life.
Together, Venus and Mercury have been readjusting our relationships, making us more aware of what we say and how we say it, and perhaps even shifting our attitudes and beliefs around money and material resources.
Now with both of them back Direct, there is the beginning of gaining more clarity and direction in our thinking and with our relationships.
Some of you during this Retrograde period have been re-evaluating your relationships and chronic patterns in your relationships. Some of you have experienced a crisis that has forced you to make serious changes in your relationships or relationship patterns.
This is not only about romantic relationships but also about platonic friendships, family and work relationships.
Do you tend to give your power away? Are you now more commited to speaking your truth and not sacrificing and giving too much.
Relationships are meant to be give and take, with both people giving and receiving from one another. If you are doing much more giving than receiving, it is like breathing out and not breathing in, metaphorically speaking.
These patterns of giving more than receiving can be seen in a natal chart, yet also are “inherited” from family conditioning, programming into women from society, and acting out of guilt from religion.
The more a person is centered in their heart while in relationship balance with their mind, the better able they are to have healthy give and take relationships.
Now with both Mercury and Venus back Direct, we can move forward with enough knowledge and information to know what to do with our relationships.
The actual day of Mercury Direct is Wednesday May 3 at 12:33 PM EDT. It will then slowly get back to speed, so for a week or so after it goes back Direct clarity and direction will be unfolding. You will be better at making decisions, and better prepared for initiating new projects.
Also this week on Monday May 1 there is Beltane, an ancient celebration of relationship, fertility, and relationship balance. Moving around a maypole is an old tradition of Beltane.
Interestingly, it synchronizes this year with the recently Direct motion of Venus and Mercury now going back Direct.
Relationships on the global stage are shifting and changing also. The USA connections with North Korea, China, Russia, and the Middle East are in the process of big change.
The way it will now shake out is very important to world peace or war.
People often ask how much influence our individual and collective intention and prayer have on world affairs.
There is a thin line between what is meant to be and what we can create through our human consciousness and actions. This is what co-creation is all about.
It is worth our time and effort to focus our loving energies toward world affairs. Even if we are not able to shift the direction the world is moving toward, putting more love in the world will always work toward making our human experience better and better.
No matter what happens, we are in the process of deep transformation of our consciousness and lives on the way to an Age of Aquarius.
The transition time between an Age of Pisces and an Age of Aquarius is powerful. Yes there are birth pains that will show through difficult world events and challenging personal life events, but there will also be more and more awakenings, more portals opening for greater love and truth, and more magic and synchronicity.
There is a pull toward staying in old consciousness that will be helped if you give into fear or rage. There is also more inspiration to move into new consciousness as you trust in love balanced with truth, trust the Universe, and trust in the wisdom of your own soul and body.
The movement toward the Age of Aquarius is getting stronger and stronger, even as Rome is burning, so to speak.
I believe that December 2020 will be an important marker for the official dawning of the Age of Aquarius.
In the meantime, we will be experiencing a most intense and tumultuous part of the transition between ages.
This August 2017 will bring a major turning point in our collective Soul’s journey into the New Age.
There will then be two eclipses, the second one most important and powerful. It is a Total Solar Eclipse New Moon in Leo, covering the whole of the United States. It triggers planets in the natal charts of Donald Trump, the USA, Syria, Israel, and North Korea.
I am sure we will all be challenged to stay on our paths toward more love and truth in our lives. The pull toward fear and old attitudes and beliefs will be strong. So we will need to keep our focus, our center, and our alignment with the Universe.
The current lunar cycle, begun at the New Moon in Taurus, is still waxing toward a Full Moon, which will be on May 10 in Scorpio.
So now, especially after Mercury goes Direct on May 3, we are getting more clear in our minds and hearts and directed to moving forward with our lives.
Be attentive to the fact that often the time surrounding Mercury changing directions can feel strange while at the same time feeling a sense of relief.
