Power of Pluto and Astrology Forecast for September 11-17

by Leo Knighton Tallarico

The planetary highlights this coming week are a Full Moon in Pisces on Monday the 12th and Pluto changing directions from retrograde to direct on Friday the 16th.

The Full Moon on Monday is at 5:27 AM EDT.   This Pisces Full Moon is usually a very gentle Full Moon, and with all the recent volatility, gentle is appreciated.

It is a good time now as we approach and move through this Full Moon, to surrender and allow “nature” to take its course.  It is a good time at this watery Pisces Full Moon to go with the flow more and trust life.

I understand how difficult it is when one is in crisis, or facing challenge, or engulfed in intense inner emotions, to not stress out and try so hard.

But timing is also important, and we can’t really “push the river” to move any faster than it moves naturally.  Sometimes we need to just trust that the answers will unfold in their proper time, that we will given the signs to act when it is the right time.

And most importantly, our health and well-being are dependent on our not allowing too much stress to run our lives.  And if we are always fretting or worrying or pushing and controlling, we are over stressing our minds and bodies.

Of course a Full Moon is always when the Sun is exactly opposite the Moon.   And opposite this Pisces Moon is the Sun in Virgo.  Though flowing Pisces and perfectionistic Virgo are very different energetically, what they have in common is their desire to serve.  They both want to surrender their egos, and serve something greater.  So this Full Moon is a good time to get in touch with what you want to be humbly of service to.

Virgo and Pisces also both have healing qualities: Virgo fixes and heals in the mechanical or body or physical part of life, while Pisces heals the emotions, soul and psyche.  So this Full Moon is also a good time to get in touch with what in your life needs fixing or healing..

Competing for energetic influence with the gentle Pisces Full moon this week is the intense and potentially explosive Pluto. It is slowing down this week and then changing from retrograde to direct on Friday. Whenever a planet slows down to stationary position and changes direction, its influence is greatly exaggerated.  Pluto is deeply transformational, and as the “ruling” planet of Scorpio is very powerful.  As it changes directions this week, we can expect there to be greater intensity and stronger world events.   Pluto’s influence can also bring to the surface what had been previously kepy secret.

We can see the combination of the Pisces Full Moon and the turning of Pluto in our American honoring of the tragedy of 9-11, as we acknowledge the 10 year marking point now on September 11, 2011.  The Pisces Full Moon is represented in the mourning and healing of our nation.  Pluto is represented in our fears of someone repeating the horror and explosiveness of that event as we gather that day to remember.   The Pluto change this week happens while it is in Capricorn.

Pluto left Sagittarius to enter Capricorn in 2008/09.  It will stay in Capricorn until 2024, for 15 years.

It is meaningful that we are changing ages during this time of Pluto in Capricorn.  Capricorn is about the structures and institutions that run a society.   Pluto is deeply transformational, and it ruthlessly destroys the old that has lost its soul, its principles, its passion.  From the ashes of destruction, like the phoenix, new life is born and rises.  During the time of Pluto in Capricorn, we are witnessing the destruction of the old structures in our world and culture.

The old economy is being destroyed for something more aligned with the Aquarian Age we are moving into.  The Arab Spring this year has been destroying old governments and ruling classes who have outlived their time.  Natural disasters are shifting our Earth placements.  Much more revolution and transformation is coming our way between now and 2024 when Pluto leaves Capricorn for Aquarius- the sign of our new Age.

And as I have written before, I believe the mark of the Aquarian Age beginning is in December of 2010, when Jupiter conjuncts Saturn at 0+ degrees of Aquarius.

So even though many are seeeing 2011 or 2012 as the entrance into a New World and Age, I do not see it that way astrologically.

I do believe however that there is  much truth to these two years being dramatically transformational. I believe that there is much change coming before October 28, 2011, as Carl Calleman believes this is the date of changing worlds according to the Mayan Calendar.  The comet Elenin, even in its current degraded state,  is meaningful as it happens close to that October 28 date. It also signifies great change for the end of this year.  And I do believe, as do many  Mayan scholars, that December 2012 is an important marking point of radical change on Planet Earth.

But great transformational change will continue beyond these dates, especially as Uranus squares Pluto from now through 2016.

And then in the 2020 decade we will have firmly landed in an Aquarian Age.

By that time the world we inhabit now will be ancient history, so vastly different on all levels.

In future writings of Perspectives from the Sky we will envision what this world will look like and what the process will be like to get there.

This week we experience the gentle flow of a Pisces Full Moon mixed with the intensity of Pluto.  Pay close attention to what is happening in Israel and the Middle East.  This will be a most volatile region this month and for the next several months, as the Palestinians fight for statehood and the Arab Spring revolutions continue to shift allegiances in the region.  The Middle East will get increasingly more explosive now, and will be a big igniter of worldwide transformation.  Also be alert for more grave troubles with the world economy and more natural disasters as we finish off 2011.

Climate change and the changing of Ages work together.  Ages changes, and of course the Earth and its environment are a part of that change.  All the floods and earthquakes and heat waves we have recently experienced are part of what is called Climate Change.  And Climate Change is  part of the changing ages from a Pisces Age to an Aquarian Age.

See you next week.
