The weekend that begins this forecast is rather powerful as there is a New Moon in Scorpio on the 18th and Mars squares Pluto on the 19th. That is a lot of power that needs to be expressed and released.
It is a volatile time now, with our needing to do some deep soul work, which sometimes is rather difficult and painful. Many are now having their deeper demons coming up to their awareness, so they can purge and heal them. In that process, a new birth wants to emerge, but only if the old dysfunctional energies and patterns are released sufficiently.
Scorpio is the sign of deep transformational soul work, and this New Moon in Scorpio will initiate a deepening of the soul work, and a stronger desire to live in that New Chapter of your life.
As we have talked about previously Scorpio is a sign of primal power, an energy of deep transformation and core truths. There is no b.s.ing with Scorpio. It is real. It is passionate. It is deeply in touch with both death and birth. And Mars square Pluto this week brings even more power of transformation.
Mars is the planet of Aries, and as such is straight forward, direct, and active. Pluto is the planet of Scorpio and as such is deep and powerful and transformative. Together Mars and Pluto are explosive and can be rather destructive. Yet it is mainly about destroying, sometimes rather ruthlessly, the old patterns, forms, or relationships that are not meant to come with you in this New Chapter.
To be properly aligned now, stay in touch with your core self and core truth now, your passions, and with your natural empowerment. Be as discerning as you can between healthy personal empowerment and unhealthy desires to have power over someone or even to have revenge or to hurt someone else.
To feel those emotions may be natural in some circumstances, but to feed those feelings or to act on them cannot be a good thing for you or anyone else.
Stay aware of these energies inside your self, in others or out in the world. Be aware if you are being triggered to act in an angry confrontational manner. Really nasty arguments or fights are more likely during this time period. World events that bring great turmoil are more likely during this lunar cycle than usual.
Hot spots in the world will be more susceptible to outbursts than usual.
Yet for many this will be a most positive new moon and lunar cycle. You may get in touch with your deepest empowerment and healthy passions that will assist you in self actualization and standing up with your truth.
You may be ready now to take the ride of deep transformation, to follow your passion or honestly speak out about what you have suppressed in the past.

Also this week the Sun moves into Sagittarius on Tuesday November 21. And then on Wednesday the 22nd Neptune changes directions from retrograde to Direct.
Neptune is in its favorite sign Pisces, as it changes directions to Direct, showers its natural energy through our psyches. Neptune seeks to bring us into a flow and in that process have us surrender to the non material plane, the “world behind the world”.
Music, meditation, spiritual practices, nature, and dance bring us into Neptunian realms. Neptune also rules escapism, and so desires for drugs or alcohol can be stronger when Neptune is around too.
It is best during a few days surrounding this Neptune movement to let go any strict agendas or tight schedules or fast action. If one gets out of alignment now, they can feel spacey, forget things, have difficulty remembering, and get generally confused or chaotic.
If you use this time to let go and go with the flow, you will be fine.
The Sun in Sagittarius on the 21sr runs counter to the New Moon in Scorpio. Pluto the ruler of Scorpio is the Guardian of the Underworld. Jupiter the ruler of Sagittarius, is a God of the higher Heavens.
So even while you are doing your deep soul work in your deepest emotions, you will be called to raise your vibration, to seek higher meaning, to find your inspiration and get in touch with your needs for upliftment, joy, or adventure.
The Holiday spirit is aligned with the Sun moving into Sagittarius. But the demons of old family patterns may arise, which would be aligned with the Scorpio energies.
And of course these family issues come up so you can potentially deal with them in a more constructive and transformative manner. Leaving old family dramas behind is necessary in the transformational process. Otherwise our baggage in the New Chapter is too heavy and slows us down or even worse holds us back from healthy growth.
We are also now coming closer to the Winter Solstice, which is about a month from now. So darker days and darker moods can be difficult for some.
But positive holiday Sagittarius spirit can get strong too, as well as feelings of happiness and joy and hope. But if we get too attached to the material consumer part of the holiday season, we will be brought down into anxiety and negativity.
Half way through this Scorpio lunar cycle, on December 3,we will get a Full Moon in Gemini as Mercury goes Retrograde. More on that as we get closer to the date.
Powerful world events will not disappear during the holiday season. In fact this Scorpio New Moon may trigger pent up emotions to erupt.
But even more likely, early next year during the next Eclipse Season of January through March , world issues will build into much greater intensity. This will likely bring important events that will motivate us to make changes and transform our consciousness in order to leave behind old programming that keeps us stuck and miserable.
