With Mars and Mercury Retrograde, it is time to chill, with no dramatic needs to move forward or do anything big.
We have certainly entered a New Era of human life on Earth, and this new era will deliver us into the Age Of Aquarius in 2020/21.
In the meantime we are shedding old skins of attachment to an old paradigm and age that is energetically dissolving.
And now as we sit in this new phase of our lives, the temptation is to try to figure out exactly what is going on and to act to move things forward.
But with the retrograde planets, it is best to take time to process and heal, and to enjoy the moment without agenda, complication, or much stress.
Meditation and enjoying nature are good things to do now, as we wait for “further instruction” from spirit. Sun in Taurus will help us to do just that.
With Mars Retrograde, we are on a deep level trying to ascertain what we truly want from a Higher Self perspective. Where are we headed in our lives, what gives us passion and purpose?
With Mercury Retrograde, we are going deeper inside to know what we truly believe, to know what is true for us.
With both these planets retrograde together, we know we must stay processing- not acting out or coming to conclusions.
You will likely have “aha” moments during the retrograde period, but do your best not to have those “aha” moments bring you to change course or to make big decisions.
Wait until Mercury is Direct on May 22 before deciding; wait unti Mars goes Direct on June 29 before taking big actions forward.
Often when Mercury is Retrograde we question our path and paradigm, but it is best to wait for it to go direct before deciding once and for all what to do.
Often when Mars is Retrograde, we are tempted to do something impulsively, to take premature action, to change the direction of our path; but it is best to wait until it goes back Direct before taking any real actions.
Fitting the same theme of inaction, we are in a last quarter Moon phase until Friday May 6 when there is a New Moon in Taurus. That New Moon in Taurus is at 3:30 PM EDT>
Until then stay under the radar, and allow your consciousness to go wherever it wants to go naturally. Stay attuned to your heart now more than your head, and from there you are getting more in touch with your true nature and desires.
Allow your self to be in your feelings and to process what has been happening over the last several weeks. That processing puts you in the arms of your soul, a prerequisite for moving forward later. The heart and soul are not abour “bottom line” or goals.
They instead seek deep connections and heartfelt living in the moment.
So best now to not stress about what you need to do to get your life working the way you want it to. It is better to trust now your Higher Self and the Universe to guide you at just the right time.
At the New Moon in Taurus you will feel some spark, but it is in Taurus so the spark is not that fiery. Taurus is fixed earth, and as such it moves quite lowly if at all sometimes.
So it is best at and after the New Moon in Taurus to enjoy your body and its senses, eat good food, smell the ocean, touch soft skin, listen to music. Nature is a great place to be during Taurus time, as is your home or anywhere and with anyone who makes you feel comfortable and safe.
Taurus is slo-mo movement, which is aligned with the non action of the retrograde planets.
This does not mean you have to just sit around and do nothing. You can still work around the house, run errands, visit friends, etc. Just take it slow, no stress, no worries about how all is going to turn out.
Early this week there is a sacred turning point of nature. It is Beltane on May 1, which is approximately half way between Spring Equinox and Summer Solstice.
It is celebrated with Maypoles and symbolizes the fertility at this time of year and a balance between naturally opposite energies. It is a spring festival in many places around the world.
That May 1 date is also celebrated as May Day, a day of revolution for the International Workers of the World. It has been a day for socialists.
Speaking of socialists, Bernie Sanders has fallen behind Hilary Clinton. Do you remember when I made some predictions at the beginning of the primary process?
My formula determined that Trump would be the Republican candidate, but it was so close between Clinton and Sanders. But I gave Sanders the edge. The email scandal is still an issue for Clinton, and could still turn the tide toward Sanders.
There will soon enough be great events of world change again. These events will open the doorways even more to the Age of Aquarius.
All we have to do is work on our consciousness and inner worlds. We can be the change we want to see in the world. We each become a model for the Age of Aquarius.
Do your best to stay away from people or energies that do not resonate with this authentic Self you are developing.

We are at a very important phase in the transition between a Pisces and Aquarius Age. World changes through important world evetns will be discussed as well as a viewpoint of what and when we can expect of the Age of Aquarius.
We will also find the time to look at class members’ natal charts to see the natal dimensions of Uranus, Neptune and Pluto in personal lives. And we will look at transits and times of change in individual participant’s lives as seen by the transits of Uranus, Neptune and Pluto.
