We are on the outskirts of a very intense and transformative time period. We have let you know in previous writings that the time period between late October 2010 through January 2011 was an important time period, especially for world events that will shake up and change our lives.
The most powerful part of that time period is December 5 2010 through January 19 2011.
That time period begins on December 5 with a fiery New Moon in Sagittarius, on the same day that Uranus goes direct. Rebellious spirits are ignited. It ends at a Full Moon on January 19 that brings to climax the energies initiated at the Solar Eclipse New Moon in Capricorn on January 4 2011, an eclipse that is in opposition to the natal USA Sun from its birthchart of July 4 1776. Forces in conflict with the USA are stoked and made active.
In the middle of the time period is an extremely significant Lunar Eclipse Full Moon at 29+ degrees of Sagittarius/Gemini on the Winter Solstice on December 21 2010. This combination of aspects provides us with a Universal signature for the winter season.
The last eclipse that happened on the day of a solstice or equinox was in June 2001, when there was a solar eclipse on the day of the summer solstice. Before that summer ended there was an attack on the twin towers in New York, on September 11.
There are so many more important aspects swirling around this time also. The summer of 2010 has passed, but the aspects from that summer have not been triggered yet. They will from December 7-15 when Mars goes through early Capricorn, touching off the Grand Cross and cardinal t-square and Saturn square Pluto from that 2010 summer. In late January through early February Jupiter will travel through early Aries, triggering the same aspects again. Trigger aspects tend to touch off events that the original aspects set in motion.
To know what may happen, it is therefore important to look at what has been brewing in the world this year leading up to the important time period we are now moving through.
For one the economy has continued to be shaky, clouded by the fact that recently the stock market has been doing fairly well. It seems that the movement of the economy has been in neutral, everyone waiting to see if the direction will move up or down. The coming eclipses and trigger times should give us more clarity about the direction of the economy.
Korea has also been in intense volatility also. Earlier this year North Korea blew up a South Korean submarine and killed almost 50 sailors. And most ominous, this past week North and South Korea fired at eack other, as North Korea fired across at an island belonging to South Korea. It has been reported that 4 people were killed as a result, two who were civilians.
This event has brought the ongoing conflict between North and South Korea to its most dangerous place since the end of the fighting in the Korean War in 1953.
And of course this battle brings China into the picture as it borders Korea and has North Korea as an ally country. Since China is also in conflict recently with the USA economically, this exacerbates tensions between them. China is a growing power in the world, and will not take a subordinate role to the USA. The coming weeks during the “hot” astrological period ahead look very dangerous there.
The Middle East has also been boiling hot this year. In late spring a Turkish flotilla was travelling to the Gaza strip to bring supplies and food to an impoverished people there. Israel felt threatened and attacked one of the boats in the flotilla and killed 9 Turkish citizens. This move has pushed Turkey firmly away from “friendship” with Israel and closer in relationship to Iran and Iranian cohort Hezbollah in Lebanon.
The peace talks between Israel and the Palestinians is going nowhere, Iran is not complying with western countries’ demands to abandon its nuclear program, and all is coming to a climax during the “hot” astrological period ahead, especially concerning Iran and Hezbollah in Lebanon.
So the Middle East, Korea, and the economy will be in the spotlight during the astrologically hot period. There has also been much focus on terrorism recently also, with increased security at airports and intelligence networks information about increased threats to European nations.
We can expect the strong possibility that big event(s) will change our lives during the coming couple of months, mostly through January 19, but potentially for the entire winter.
It is important now, in our personal lives, to be with change, to be flexible. True evolution is about adaptation to changing conditions. Do not hang on to anything too tightly, non attachment is most helpful now. And that includes attachment to “how it has always been”. For instance look at the values of our homes now, as we were conditioned to believe those values would always go up, not down as they have been going.
The paradigm is changing rapidly, yet the guardians of the old world are fighting fiercely to keep the status quo, to keep us thinking “inside the box”. The guardians of the old paradigm will continue to fight for old ways, like keeping our gay and lesbian brothers and sisters oppressed and ostracized. This is all transforming and before long we will be all together in a “Diversity in Unity and Equality” world. Move with it and let go of the old paradigm.
The guardians of the old paradigm and old age want to keep us programmed to believe there are peoples out there who are our enemies, like now North Korea and Iran and perhaps soon China. Remember we are moving to a multipolar world, where all are known as one family on the Earth, many races and faces, but all one. Do not get pulled into hatred by the media, which has mainly become a tool of the Powers that Be of the old paradigm and age.
We have all been programmed more than we acknowledge, and we need to return to free minds, hearts, souls and spirits. From that place we find Truth, and from that place we learn acceptance for all our greater family.
As we learn to put ourselves into the shoes of those who are from different cultures, we learn to live together as one community here on Earth.
Do not let fear or hatred grab you too tightly now, and that includes your experiences in your personal life. Challenges we face now are tests to grow and transform, to heal old wounds that have kept our hearts hardened or closed.
Week Ahead
This week is a waning last quarter moon, moving closer to a powerful lunar cycle begun on December 5 at the Sagittarius New Moon, as Uranus goes Direct also. Before and around this New Moon are strong aspects to the charts of North and South Korea and Israel. Also the charts of Obama and the USA will be heavily aspected over the next couple of weeks, as Mars moves over the early degrees of cardinal sign Capricorn.
Mars square Jupiter early this week brings spirits high and for some out of control. Move with spirit, but keep yourself grounded. Late in the week, Mars squares Uranus to break open more active energies before the New Moon on December 5. Conflicts can break open this week, but so can free spirits wanting to leave old and confining ways and patterns.
It is getting more and more difficult to hold back the rising tides of change. Getting to be time to ride the tide.
