Shifting Realities and Astrology Forecast September 18-24

This coming week brings us winds shifting into a turning point.

Mercury has been Retrograde since August 3; on September 22 it goes back Direct again.

Also on September 22, Summer is ending at the Autumn Equinox at 10:21 AM EDT.

We have made it through 2 Eclipses this September, and now though the eclipses have passed us by, we still are in the waning energies of Eclipse Season.

As Eclipse Season begins to slow down, we flow right into the metaphorical sunset time of year: Autumn Equinox, the beginning also of Libra time of year.

Twice a year Light and Dark are equal:  Spring Equinox and Autumn Equinox.  At Spring Equinox, though yin and yang are equal, the turn is toward Yang and Light, with yin and darker days waning.

But at Autumn Equinox the reverse is true:  Light and Dark, Yin and Yang are equal; but Yin and darker days begin to grow.

So we begin to slow down and turn more inward.  We also begin to let go more of striving  and personal gain, and instead become more relationship oriented and appreciative of what we have.

As the light begins to dim, we become more grateful for the friends we have, more wanting to focus on relationship and inner values.

As this yin-ward movement begins, this year it is accompanied by Mercury going back Direct again. I know many will be quite relieved at that shift.

Clarity begins to appear, fogs lift to show us more clearly what direction we need to move in.

You may not get the full picture and feel comfortable to move forward yet however.

The New Moon in Libra on September 30 is a good marking point for greater clarity and movement forward.

But for this week enjoy the shift, allow the shift inside yourself.

Many, since Mercury went Retrograde, questioned their previous choices or beliefs, perceived in new ways, woke up to new ideas.

Some also have experienced a slide back to old times, to old friends and relationships in their minds, dreams or in the flesh.

We were reminded of how it used to be so we could see our current situations from a bigger or deeper perspective.

Sometimes we get so goal directed, or driven by a strict agenda, or so sure of our way of seeing things.  We need to be loosened up, to see other points of view. Mercury Retrograde can help us to do that.

And though Mercury Retrograde can be very difficult, it does help us to be more process oriented, and to open our minds and hearts to other viewpoints and feelings.

Now with the Autumn Equinox added to Mercury going back Direct again, and the last eclipse having passed; we can slow down and allow life to show us the way as things now unfold.

We have been learning that forced left brain obsession with finding the answers, has left us with more anxiety and less clarity.

Autumn Equinox lets us know that colder darker days are slowly moving in.  We know we need people more as a result.

The Sun moves into relationship oriented Libra at the Autumn Equinox.  Relationship means friends and family and romance, but it also means more awareness of social ways of perceiving and being.

Everything we do or say affects others, and though we may value pure and honest self expression; we often need to balance our frank expression with a sensitivity to how it makes others feel or how it will affect the state of our relationship.

Libra also seeks relationship in other ways.  It likes symmetry and beauty and how colors and shapes interact with one another. It is motivated by love.

It cares about balancing the scales of justice and seeing both sides of an argument.

In that process of seeing both sides it can be very indecisive and also can give up its own needs and individual self.  It can be so accomodating of others.

It also can be so caught up with how things appear or how they should be socially correct. In so being it can lose the deeper value of a situation or the honest expression.

Yet Libra stands for Connection, Fairness and Peace above all else.

As the disrupting energies of eclipses leave our consciousness and lives, we are ready to see what will take shape as a result.

There will be both world and personal events coming soon that will be a result of what has been shaken up during the eclipses.

The Presidential Election process will begin to clear up after Mercury goes back Direct.  In fact just a few days after Mercury goes back direct there is the first Presidential debate- I believe on September 26.

That debate should provide for those tuned in a real good sense of what direction the election process is moving toward.

In your personal life you could very well begin to feel soon as if you made it through a challenging time, progressed and grew, and now are ready for what will come your way.

The recent weeks have been a transformational challenge, pitting us up against some of our core issues.

You have released some of the emotional baggage and will feel lighter and more open to being your authentic self and receiving others as they are naturally.

We are all evolving in alignment with the changing energies, energies aligned with the Age of Aquarius we are moving into.

If you are sensing, seeing or feeling things that are not usually a part of what you call reality, you are not going crazy.

You are instead spiritually awakening to frequencies and realities that are beyond what we are taught to exist.

Entering into these worlds or being open to these entities will assist your evolution and your journey into the Age of Aquarius.
