The next couple of weeks will bring us some important planetary movement, with new doors ready to open for us.
There is a Full Moon in Sagittarius Monday, which is the same day as the annual Summer Solstice and a renewal of the mutable Grand Cross.
Next Sunday the 26th brings an intense Jupiter trine Pluto. And most importantly on June 29 Mars finally goes back Direct again.
The first turning point is this Monday June 20. It is more important than the usual Summer Solstice as there is Full Moon and Mutable Grand Cross also.
Summer Solstice is always a major turning point in the year as it begins a new Season in the northern hemisphere, Summer. The exact moment of Summer Solstice is 6:34 PM EDT.
Light/yang minutes of the day are at their greatest then, with dark/yin minutes at their least.
Metaphorically, the active outer directed energies are supreme, with the inner oriented, more subtle and subdued energies at their lowest in expression.
After today the dark rises and the light falls slowly until Autumn Equinox when light and dark are equal.
Now at the Summer Solstice people are generally more excited and “up” than at Winter Solstice for instance.
This year there is a Full Moon in Gemini/Sagittarius at 7:02 AM on the 20th. This is also a lively happening, stimulating needs to figure things out through relating and communicating.
Also there is a mutable Grand Cross with Mercury in Gemini making aspect to Saturn in Sagittarius, Neptune in Pisces and Jupiter in Virgo.
It willl be easy for people to leap into things they would usually think about at other times.
Leaping could bring positive results because of being outside the usual boxes- or negative results because one did not look before they leaped or talked.
The span of influence covered by these planetary movements on June 20 is about 5 days, from the 18th to the 23rd, with emphasis on the 20th.
Some astrologers are predicting a really crazy time period around the 20th, but can it be much more crazy than it has been lately?
Nevertheless, look for the planetary movements around the 20th to open some doors, at least in your consciousness, in preparation for Mars going Direct on the 29th of June.
After the 29th a huge portal or door will open,, allowing you to get off the pause button in your life.
You will more easily move forward and make decisions and feel like life has opened back up for you. This does not mean that magically on the 29th all your troubles or frustrations will be eliminated.
It means that energetically things begin to open up- slowly at first then picking up more steam later. You should be able to feel the shift around the 29th.
Since we last wrote to you the tragedy in Orlando erupted into our world and consciousness.
Such pain and suffering and horrifying fear were felt. People’s real attitudes and feelings toward LGBT people, toward Islam, toward security fears, and toward guns opened up into the light.
There are so many important discussions that need to be had now in our American community. But there is such a lack of flexibility and open-mindedness and respect for others’s opinions in the way.
We are truly a disfunctional community that so deperately needs to come together at this crucial time for humanity on Earth.
We are in transiton between paradigms and ages, and I am afraid that these horrifying events will continue to happen until we come together to find answers that are aligned with the new age we are entering.
We will have a new President elected in less than 6 months now, as President Obama and his family prepare for life outside the White House.
None of us agree with everything his Presidency accomplished and we know little was done to break up the dominance of the Military/Industrial Complex that runs our democracy and lives.
But his presidency should be appreciated for the many changes that are aligned with the Age Of Aquarius.
There has been a respect shown for other cultures,religions, and nations, an honoring of those who were previously looked down on and abused, a thoughtful approach to challenges and problems, a finesse-full style of governing.
With what we likely have coming in contrast, he will be missed.
For now as he is about to leave, one can see more chaos ready to enter. And more reactionary control measures to hold down the out of control events.
Right wing nationalism is growing stronger in Europe now as in the Uniter States.
At the same time the New Age is bursting at the seams, ready to bring more love and light in a big way.
Concentrate on that and you will be alright. Do not get too focused on the horrible dramas that continue to play out. Yes feel the commpassion for those who are suffering, but do not let yourself be overcome with fear or rage.
Most people will be swept up by the drama, the strong emotions, the hatred and fear of those who are being demonized.
The only demon to be fought is our own human desire to have a demonized enemy and be filled with hatred and fear for them. As always much of the real work now is internal, with our own beliefs and attitudes.
This week the Summer Solstice brings with it the Sun moving into Cancer. It is time for family and friends, for being in safe and protected environments where you feel nurtured and “seen” and appreciated.
Mars Direct is soon now. Get your inner and outer worlds prepared for the movement forward after June 29. Summer Solstice/Full Moon will be a turning point in that process.

We will also find the time to look at class members’ natal charts to see the natal dimensions of Uranus, Neptune and Pluto in personal lives. And we will look at transits and times of change in individual participant’s lives as seen by the transits of Uranus, Neptune and Pluto.
