The Sun in Virgo has brought stronger intentions to fix what needs to be fixed, “get it together”, put things in order, and get down to business. But we are still within the lunar cycle that began with a Leo New Moon on August 17. So the summer and vacations and having fun still has ample planetary energy behind it.
We are kind of in a calm before the storms now. And actually as I write this forecast, a Tropical Storm has moved over Haiti, is headed for Cuba, and may be a hurricane over Florida, which may affect the Republican Convention, which begins this coming Monday August 27.
But the real storms of planetary activity will begin in mid- September and will become much stronger in November/December.
Mid-September brings Uranus square Pluto again, with an added punch of intensity because Scorpionic Pluto will be especially strong as it will be stationary going Direct at that time. This will be a time when there are awakenings of the mind, revelations which will tend to shift perception and perspective; and a powerful energy that brings up emotions that need to be expressed and cleared. Revolutionary and evolutionary movement forward will be strong.
In November there are two eclipses, a Solar Eclipse New Moon in Scorpio on November 13 and a Lunar Eclipse Full Moon in Sagittarius/Gemini on November 27. Also Mercury will be retrograde for much of the month, beginning on Election Day, November 6; and Mars will ignite the Uranus/Pluto square as it is conjunct Pluto around the time of the second eclipse. This will be potentially an extremely strong month for transformation, as we get prepared for the ending of the Mayan Calendar on December 21, 2012.
As we have stated before, goings on the Middle East will be boiling in September and November; but November and especially the date November 13 is the most volatile time period and best chance for chaos in the region. Other strong and transformational world events are likely in November/December.
In December there will be a much waited for documentary movie coming out about Disclosures regarding Ufo’s and extraterrestrials. Many believe this will be a blockbuster event that blows open our reality to vast new horizons and Universal possibilities.
No one truly knows what the ending of the Mayan Calendar will bring, as there is no point of reference from the past to point to. But the planetary activity promises great change leading up to the Mayan date.
This coming week the USA political process heats up and the storm Isaac blowing in is a good symbol for our political reality here. The Democratic and Republican parties have very little to provide to our community now. They are at war with one another, not in relationship to help heal and fix what is wrong with our country now. Politicians by nature must always balance a need to get elected with the good of the community and higher principles and ideals.
Years ago, conservatives and liberals were more clear about they separately believed, yet at the same time were much better at listening to one another and trying to come together to solve the important issues.
Now they are unbalanced and it mostly seems that getting elected has become much more important than keeping to principles or getting together for the good of the country and community.
This is one of the reasons we so desperately need change in this country and world. And if you really looked deep, I am sure you would agree that it will take major events to change how our politicians think and act.
And the greater world is also defined by separation that is not about integrity or standing ground for principle, but mostly run by wanting what one selfishly needs for oneself. There is power and control negotiation, but little of common goals for the world community. It is my team against your team with little sense of “we are all in this together”.
And all too often many of our relationships are handled this way in personal lives. Couples are not trusting each other in the relationship, and do not always operate as if they are “on the same team”.
How do we get to a place in our personal lives and in the greater world where people know we are all ONE FAMILY, many differences and colors and textures and attitudes and lifestyles, but all ONE, in it together, working for the good of all. This does mean being sacrificial and not caring about what you need. Yet it does mean that the context changes, as we realize that everyone has a natural instinct to both take care of them self and be in relationship with the needs of others and the community.
What kind of events will it take to get us there as a human world community, and in our personal relationships and lives? What will it take for people to open up to trusting themselves, others, our world, and the Universe? Use your own imagination to see what it would take to get us to that place?
So do we hope for nothing to happen and to keep our lives as they are? Or do we hope for drastic events to revolutionize and transform our lives for the good of future generations and ourselves ultimately?
We are at that crossroads now. Change means changing our attitudes, our habits, our way of living. Can we stand, especially here in America and Europe, for a disruption to our secure and familiar lives, so we can bring back passion, connection, deeper meaning, more love, a real search for truth, and a common bond with our fellow human? Can we as free humans take individual responsibility for our lives and the health of our world and Earth? Can we truly respect how others lead their lives, as long as they do not hurt us directly? Can we stop trying to make everyone just like us or into someone who shares our values?
How big do events have to be to transform our world and bring us all to the place in our consciousness that is evolved for a new world? Or do you believe that all of a sudden at the end of the Mayan Calendar we will wake up together with no great events to change us?
Life will continue after December 21 2012, no matter what anyone tells you. But will be wake up on December 22 still doing everything the same as we do today, yet with our souls and spirits another level dead? Or will we be in the process of big change to evolve ourselves and our world to an Aquarian Age of Diversity in Unity, equality and liberation for all humans?
Perhaps our current fascination with vampires and zombies reflects our own desires to be the Living Dead, which so many seem to be moving toward. Or can we wake up in time to save our souls and world?
This week the lunar nodes are shifting from Gemini/Sagittarius to Taurus/Scorpio. Scorpio will be the lunar north node starting on August 31 and staying there until February 2014. We are pointing toward a need for more intensity, depth, and passion during that time, with a counter force for comfort, security and practical concerns. The last time we had a Scorpio north node was from February 1994- August 1996. Check out your life back then in relation to comfort/passion.
And also this coming Friday August 31 there is a Full Moon in Virgo/Pisces at 9:58 AM EDT. This brings a need to balance our material concerns for order with our soul needs for flow and deep connection. What both Virgo and Pisces have in common is a need to serve. This is usually a very gentle Full Moon.
