If you feel you are unsure of what you are doing or where you want to go or what you really desire, keep in mind that Mars will stay Retrograde until April 13/14.
It is during this time that we reflect on these issues, not yet ready to rev up our life engines and move forward. And of course to add to this stalling, we are still in winter; though at the end of this week, as the Sun goes into Pisces on February 18, we enter the last third of that season.
And to add to the waiting theme, the Moon is waning now, slowly losing its light and energy until new beginnings at the New Moon in Pisces on February 21.
So for now it may be best to try to relax and center in the deeper quiet of your soul. From that place, you will be guided to inner trails of knowing. Neptune is in Pisces now until 2025, so we are getting used to being drawn into this inner spiritual sanctum. After the Sun goes into Pisces on the 18th and the New Moon in Pisces on the 21st, the Neptune theme will get even stronger.
Have you been feeling more spacey lately, forgetting things, not knowing where you left something? If so , do not worry you have some mental ailment. This is Neptune beginning to seduce you into its flowing Universe of inner surrender.
Neptune lets us know that finding answers is not about “figuring it out”, but about allowing the Universe to unfold before your inner eyes and sensitivities. You will be taken to where the enlightenment, inspirations, knowledge, resolutions, and answers reside.
Neptune can help us to use the Mars Retrograde time period effectively, by helping us to dip inside the veils from outer reality. From there we can rewind our consciousness to remember where we have been before, and to be shown what our deeper soul wants and where it wants to go.
Life is changing rapidly and soon, especially during the eclipse season this spring 2012, the changes will accelerate. Your intellect cannot know exactly what changes are coming to our greater world and to your personal life. So it cannot “figure out” what to do. But your deeper soul will show you in a timely fashion what is right for you and what directions to take.
Do not expect the answers to come right away. Be patient and wait for your deeper soul to show you at the right time. Mars will be retrograde for another two months, and Mercury will join it in retrograde from mid March until early April. You may not know what to do until after that.
Trust the process, and trust your inner wisdom and the wisdom of the Universe to reveal to you at the right time exactly what you need.
But of course you will need to be proactive in the process, by making a concerted effort to find the inner voice, through meditation and contemplation and trust.
It is also part of the process of Mars Retrograde to get in touch with personal empowerment issues. Have you been more in touch with anger or rage lately or remembered how others have sometimes been abusive to you? People, especially women it seems, are given messages and programming that anger is ugly and unacceptable.
But anger can be an instinctual way of telling us that someone is mistreating us, or that we are getting frustrated, or that we need to take action, or create healthy boundaries. Anger can be empowering if used properly. Avoiding conflict is not always a good idea, as self assertion can be a way of seeking justice or fairness or speaking the truth.
In the greater world, during this Mars Retrograde period, much is stirring. The western world is troubled by Syria and Iran. Syria and Iran and their allies are troubled by the western world and Israel. From a very deep place in the collective unconscious it is being decided during this retrograde period what will happen. Will there be war?
It is also being decided what to do economically with Greece and Europe. In fact the future of the economic system is being decided.
As we have stated before, a perfect storm is forming for the eclipse season. If the storm forms the economy will falter and war will begin. Perhaps such a big storm will not be necessary, and leaders will begin to tap into unity consciousness and bring about a diplomatic solution and a more fair economy for all.
But if that perfect wave of positive change does not flow, then the storm is inevitable.
The republican candidates, except for Ron Paul, are sounding very militaristic about Iran. President Obama is less militaristic, but nevertheless, said “all options are on the table” concerning Iran.
Is Obama another pawn for the Military/Industrial Empire complex, or can he lead the way to transforming our world view and finding peace?
Soon we will all find out just who he is.
Last Quarter Moon begins on Tuesday this week in Scorpio. We are getting our selves together now, getting in positive mind frames and getting ready for big changes this spring. Use this last quarter Moon phase, and our movement into Pisces time of year (after February 18), to face any lingering demons and to release them and let them go. Soon, this spring, we will be moving fast forward with no time to be burdened by the ghosts of the past.
Next week we will talk about how best to use the Pisces time of year, in anticipation of a strong Eclipse Season on its way.
