This week we move into the waning half of the lunar cycle that began on March 17 at the Pisces New Moon.
The Full Moon in Libra earlier today March 31 brings us into the slow dimming of the light of the Moon.
At the same time we are in the middle of Mercury Retrograde, a time to reflect on our lives, and to rewind into what has happened previously in our lives.
Coupled with the waning half of the lunar cycle it is obviously a time to go inward, to process, and to prepare for action forward after April 15 when there is an Aries New Moon and Mercury going back direct.
This coming week we also have the stop signs of Sun square Saturn and Mercury square Saturn. The Sun and Mercury are in Aries and Saturn is in Capricorn.
The Sun and Mercury in Aries signify desires to think ahead, to act, to make new beginnings.
Saturn in Capricorn, a sign that makes Saturn stronger, tells us to wait before acting, to stay put so we can do what we need to do, decide what we need to decide.
There is no running away from the hand of time Saturn, who tells us when it is time for something to be done or decided.
Saturn is also gravity which pulls us down into what we cannot escape.
So the Aries planets are in a rush, while Saturn tells us to be patient till it is Time to go forward.
So now with Saturn strong, Mercury Retrograde, and in the waning half of the lunar cycle; we are waiting until the gate opens on April 15.
In most cases it will not be time to rush through the gate, but instead to just be aware that you are no longer restricted.
Then as Mercury gets back to speed, (a week to 10 days later), and the energies are ready to be put into forward motion (maybe not till May or June), we move forward in a quite strong fashion.
World events will begin to move though the gate, but will not pour in until May or June or even in the summer during another Eclipse Season.
But there will be a sense that nothing can hold you back, and nothing can be held back. There is a “grand opening” and a new day has dawned.
But still this week and next we are wanting to get more clear in our thinking so we can make sound decisions. We are preparing for what comes next, we are doing what we need to do, we are facing up to what we need to face up to.
It will feel like there is little room to move within, and not much chance to evade, avoid, and escape.
It is almost time now. Be patient a while longer. Don’t push the river to flow faster.
In the greater world, we are on the cusp of great change. Everything is being set up now for what is coming soon.
And our individual lives are a microcosm for what is happening in the world macrocosm.
We are in the process of getting more clear, of choosing direction, of knowing what we want and need.
With the Aries influence now it may be quite difficult for some to not want to push through the gate and get going.
That would likely be a big mistake. Even if you feel you have gotten more clear of what needs to be done, or what direction you need to take, wait to act on in till after the New Moon in Aries on April 15.
And that New Moon in Aries will be conjunct liberator and awakener Uranus. You may feel blocked or stuck now, but soon you will taken outside whatever box you may feel you are locked inside of.
And in the greater world, right before the New Moon in Aries and Mercury Direct on April 15, on April 14 Jupiter is sextile Pluto forming a Yod or “Finger of God” configuration with the USA natal Mars.
This means there are turning points in military and police affairs. Look at the turmoil and violence already erupting in Gaza of the Palestinian territories. And in mid May the USA moves its embassy to Jerusalem, further incensing Arabs and Muslims:turning point.
And the summit between North Korea and the USA is scheduled for May also: turning point
And in domestic affairs, gun debates (very Mars) after the Parkland Florida mass murder keep getting stronger. It is time to deal with this issue in a way that will help solve the problem.
And in Sacramento the police are being fingered by many as perpetrators killing an unarmed African American again. This issue is coming to a head now in the USA.
And of course the revelations of sexual abuse of power are still very important.
These are all quite arguably USA Mars issues that are all ripe for dramatic change.
So the “Finger of God” aspect encompassing the USA natal Mars is bringing important turning points for all these issues. The USA is at a crossroads with military/police/power/gun issues.
Will we turn toward more peaceful and sane ways, and listen to the voices we have previously silenced, or will we choose to get even more dominating and bullying?
These are truly the times we have been waiting for, times to speak up and create change no matter how difficult it may seem.
The Age of Aquarius is on our doorstep and is waiting for us to help transform this world.
It is our world, not a world to be dominated by power abusers, the greedy, and the privileged.
We can change this world if we turn to love not fear, if we turn to truth not lies. Things change from the inside out.
Christ is said to have stated that “the meek shall inherit the Earth”. I believe that means that those who are humble and peaceful and kind are the hope for this Earth and world.
