We are moving down into the last quarter of the lunar cycle this week, and there are no “important” or very intense planetary movements right now. Maybe we can take a break from so many great waves of change, and settle down a bit.
We are also in the last few days of Leo time of year before we enter the transition month between summer and autumn. That transition begins later this week as the Sun moves into Virgo on Saturday the 23rd at 12:46 AM Eastern USA Time.
So if you have not gotten too beaten up by all the intensity from early this year through last week, perhaps you can find some time for fun this week.
Or maybe you will need the time to process all that has happened, to get deeper into your body and soul and do some healing. Perhaps you will need this down time to make some completions, find some resolution, get a better understanding of all that has erupted in your life this year.
This year is an important year of transformation for our human species. We are in a most powerful chapter of the transition between ages. We are being “asked” to transform our lives and consciousness in alignment with the Age we are moving into.
To evolve one does not have to be “mean and lean”, does not necessarily mean being the strongest or the most intelligent. Survival of the fittest is mostly about adaptability to change.
And right now adaptability is mostly about changing one’s consciousness to be in alignment with what the Age of Aquarius is demanding. Those who still believe that the ones who have the most power or the most money or the most popularity will be the survivors – are off track as that kind will populate the zoos or be the dinosaurs of our future.
Those who believe in Love, who know we are all members of the same family, who respect those who are different from them, who cherish the Earth, who learn to have empathy for others, who know all in life is connected and meaningful, will evolve into our new world. Jesus is said to have spoken that the “meek share inherit the Earth”. Those who have peace in their hearts will help our Earth and our human family to heal and transform.
I know when you look around now at all the events in the world, it can be so frightening and tempt one to live in fear and become cynical.
Last week we had a well known member of our human family, one who was famous and rich hang himself- Robin Williams.
Buying into the cultural values and being successful on those terms does not make one happy or help one to better survive in the bigger picture.
What one develops in one’s heart and soul, in one’s “inner kingdom”, is where the key to being satisfied and evolving lies.
If you are fearful, depressed, self loathing, untrusting, then you will find misery and you will not truly grow and evolve on a deeper level. This does not mean you should judge or blame yourself or others for being in that sad state. But you do need to take responsibility for your inner health.
And it does mean that going within and finding your true self, finding inner peace, finding love and truth, will help you most on your life journey.
This does not mean that money or success or popularity are bad, and in fact they can make life easier and more enjoyable.
But without the inner values, those things will be empty and you may never feel you have enough of them.
And without the intention for your consciousness evolving now, beyond what the conventional world has programmed you to believe and be, you will not be open to the signs that show you your true path of soul evolution.
If you are becoming who others want you to be, you are losing your Self and your health and moving off your soul’s path.
One of the benefits of these transformational times is that the parts of your life that are inauthentic are revealed to you when things break down, so you can see the light again and change direction.
Powerfully transformative Uranus and Pluto will continue making exact square to one another, which has been happening since 2012, through Spring 2015- and will continue to bring transformational energy even after that.
The last time Uranus and Pluto made major exact aspect to one another was in 1965-66 when they were conjunct. This brought on the ’60s revolution, but of course that revolution stretched into the ’70s.
The next exact square between Uranus and Pluto is in December this year 2014. And that will be at the end of the autumn, finishing off another Eclipse Season, this time Autumn Eclipse Season 2014.
The beginning waves of this Eclipse Season will be felt in mid September and the first actual eclipse will be on October 8, a Full Moon Total Lunar Eclipse in Aries. That will be followed by a New Moon Solar Eclipse in Scorpio on October 23.
Uranus and Pluto will be making a Cardinal T-square with that Aries Lunar Eclipse, a formation almost as powerful as a Grand Cross.
But for now as we enter the last quarter Moon in Taurus this Sunday the 17th, do your best to chill and recharge your heart “batteries”.
Late Sunday/early Monday Jupiter conjuncts Venus in Leo, to bring more joy and hope to you along with the light and airy Moon in Gemini at that time.
Later in the week, after the Moon goes into feeling oriented Cancer from Wednesday through most of Friday, there are relatively minor aspects involving Uranus, Pluto, and Mars in Scorpio. That should bring more intensity, but nothing to shake you up too much.
See you next week,
Leo
