Powerful tides are shifting this week as there will be another Eclipse as Mercury goes Retrograde.
On Thursday July 26 at 1:02 AM EDT Mercury goes Retrograde. It will stay Retrograde until August 19- when it goes back Direct.
The eclipse this week is on Friday July 27 at 4:20 PM EDT. It is a Total Lunar Eclipse Full Moon in Aquarius.
So energies will be in flux this week, and as a result we will be shifting our thinking and our energy bodies.
Mercury goes Retrograde in Leo, so our way of thinking creatively is shifting. As with all Mercury Retrograde time periods, we will be changing our perceptions and our ways of communicating.
This changing is often felt rather subtly, but nevertheless people often rethink or question what they have previously decided. And if that happens with you, it is best to wait until Mercury goes back direct before deciding to act on what you have been questioning. And of course waiting a week after it has gone back Direct is the best strategy for making important decisions.
During Mercury Retrograde it is best to not rely too much on linear thinking. It is usually best to process and reflect, imagine and think inventively.
People from the past often come back into our hearts and minds through our dreams, our waking memories, or actually in the flesh during Mercury Retrograde.
Their re-appearance is meant to help us better understand current situations, especially relationship issues.
So Mercury Retrograde is beginning just before the Lunar Eclipse this week. And the first couple of days of Mercury Retrograde are often more confusing and disorienting.
And happening so close to the Lunar Eclipse, which brings increased intensity and disturbance, we may experience events that may seem hard to understand or control.
Like the last Eclipse on July 12, this one is also more powerful than usual. The one on July 12 was closely in opposition to god of the underworld Pluto.
This one on the 27th has Mars closely conjunct the Moon in Aquarius, and Uranus square the Moon in Aquarius and Sun in Leo. That makes an important Fixed T-square formation, one that pulls us in 3 different directions.
The Sun in Leo expresses creative shining and sees itself as the center of attention; the Moon in Aquarius expresses group needs, social needs, and social consciousness. Mars conjunct that Moon in Aquarius adds much force for the needs of the group or community. And Uranus in Taurus seeks to break down the usual way of being, the more conventional approach.
The current teaming up this week for socialism in health plans expressed by Bernie Sanders and Alexandria Ocasio- Cortez is representative of what the Uranian and Aquarius ways are all about.
The Sun in Leo represents the executive or presidential controls.
So in your own life it is time to break outside your usual boxes of thinking and being. You may have only seen a couple of options for solving certain issues in your life. Now you can be awakened to see options you never thought of before.
If you were born in late April, late July, late October, or late January you may be greatly affected by this Eclipse. If you have any natal planets in early Taurus, early Leo, early Scorpio or early Aquarius you may be greatly affected by this Eclipse.
This eclipse is meant to shake us out of same-old, same-old, same-old thinking or ways of being. It can assist us in letting go of that which does not serve us. It can bring in awakening energies that break us out of old boxes and provide breakthroughs in our consciousness and lives.
This is a transformational time period, one that accelerates our progress and evolution.
It may also feel painful for many, especially those who have been holding on tightly to what needs too be released.
The fixed signs are mostly affected by this eclipse, and those are the signs that tend to hold on and not let go the most.
Aquarius tends to hold onto certain ways of thinking, set ways of being socially conscious.
Scorpio holds onto feelings from the past, especially hurts and resentments.
Leo tends to hold onto a very set ego and way of seeing oneself.
Taurus holds onto many things, especially possessions or that which it claims as its own.
It is time to let go more, and know that the Universe is at our backs and has our backs for transformation.
In the greater world you can see how the USA appears to be falling apart. There are great cultural divisions now, ones that are breaking up relationships and families. Red and blue state divisions are stronger than ever. Trumpites and non Trumpites are fiercely against one another.
The fiasco last week with Putin and Trump is indicative of how out of balance the USA has become under Trump.
Those wanting to bring down the Trump presidency are feeling more confident they can do it now. Those attempts will get stronger and stronger now, further breaking down the stability of the nation. It is likely that before too long the increasing chaos for change will be met with more militaristic attempts at control.
Israel is now in the spotlight of Eclipse Season. It has been severely bombing the Gaza Strip Palestinians, and Palestinian Hamas has been fighting Israel. Iran and Syria are also potential fighting zones now for Israel. The Middle East region is ripe for major conflict soon. Russia and the USA presence there makes it all more dangerous.
Remember that the Military Industrial Complex will be threatened over the next few years, especially so when transiting Pluto and Saturn in Capricorn will make conjunction with the USA Natal Pluto in Capricorn in its 2nd house (a symbol of the Military/Industrial complex). This will happen in the early 2020’s.
The Age of Aquarius is busting at the seams of our old age structures. It seeks to bring to our consciousness the new waves of love and truth appropriate to this New Age.
And now during Eclipse Season these new energies are stronger than usual. As you clear out the baggage that is distorting your authentic soul self, your inner vessels of receptivity are opened to receive these divine energies from the Age of Aquarius.
There is revolution and evolution roaring in our world now and deep in our souls. Be with the change. Be with the Love. Be with the Truth.
Do not be frightened by the power displays of the System. Compared to the vastness and power of the Universe, it is just castles in the sand.
