We have entered the Mercury Retrograde time period now. It will last until July 1.
This could be an especially challenging Mercury Retrograde. That is because Mars will continue to journey through Cardinal sign Libra until it triggers the transformational planets from the Cross: Uranus and Pluto, and also the degrees of the Cardinal Grand Cross from last April.
It will in that process square transiting Pluto on June 14, touch the exact degrees of the Cardinal Grand Cross from April on June 16-17, and then on June 25 it opposes transiting Uranus.
Triggers are known to touch off issues that have not been fully resolved, and often times these issues can be brought back quite dramatically and intensely. What came up for you during the March-May period of the Cross’ influence may come back for further processing, but long standing issues from the more long ago past may also come back as part of the Mercury Retrograde influence.
Often during Mercury Retrograde people or memories or dreams remind us of the past, and motivate us to relive sweet and/or bitter times. Music may also serve the purpose of bringing back feelings or thoughts from days gone by.
Keep in mind that Mercury Retrograde is meant to shift our focus, shift our perceptions, change our mindset so that we can see with new eyes.
But that new sight will not be clear until after Mercury goes back Direct again. So do not jump to any conclusions, make any rash decisions, or shift your life direction until Mercury goes back Direct again in July.
That advice is especially pertinent this current Mercury Retrograde period, as the Cardinal Grand Cross will be triggered, potentially causing additional confusion and emotional turmoil.
The ability to find “logic” and objectivity in your usual ways may be compromised at this time.
So it is best if you can to retreat, reflect, and re-member. Use your imagination and heart more, as your left brain’s way of perceiving may not be operating as it usually does.
In the greater world tensions will increase over the next few weeks, and communication issues may get in the way of people truly understanding one another’s position.
There is a restructuring of our world going on now, and rebalancing of power. During the Cardinal Grand Cross influence of March through May, Russia was threatening Western interests in Ukraine, China was becoming more assertive about its interests, and Iran was in the spotlight working out its nuclear issues with world powers.
Israel and the USA were also more at odds with one another around the Palestinian issue, an issue that is now threatening to get more out of hand.
It would not take much now to touch off world storms that could get out of control.
But overall, there is a powerful wave of new light and energy that seeks to penetrate our collective and individual bodies and souls. When there is a block that stops the light and energy from flowing through, there will then be issues that come up as red flags alerting us to make changes.
That can come in the form of physical problems, emotional upsets, or intense events in our individual lives. And in the greater world explosive or seemingly destructive events alert us to the knowledge that something is out of balance, unaligned, corrupted, diseased, and/or toxic, that needs to be healed and transformed.
For instance there are more and more incidents of people going crazy and perpetrating mass murder, in shopping malls, the workplace, schools, military bases, etc.
This is happening because of the dysfunctional and toxic paradigm we are living under, because of the lack of love and truth in our world, because our human priorities are out of whack, in that we care more about our material concerns and our security than we do about real human values.
The energies of the Age of Aquarius are powerful, but human stubbornness is powerful too. We often fight with all our power to keep things just as they are, no matter what.
We cannot avoid the energies of change, however, especially now as they are so powerful. But we can choose to seek alignment with these changes and evolve, or we can instead choose to make our individual wills and egos more important.
Trust the process now, open your heart to the energies, and make intention to stay in your heart no matter what. If you stay in your heart or at least do not stray for long, you will be able to listen: to others, to the Universe, and to your own deeper soul.
It is most important now, especially as we move through the potential confusion and chaos of Mercury Retrograde and other important aspects now, to let go to the Bigger Picture, even while you are crossing the T’s and dotting the I’s in your life. Do not be limited by the view of the little picture. There is meaning to all that is happening and the little voice inside your soul, the one you are in touch with while meditating or being in nature, will align you and connect you even and especially during life’s storms.
This week, besides Mercury going Retrograde, Neptune changes directions and goes Retrograde on Monday June 9. So now and for the next several days, things may be more confusing and out of control. But they also hold the potential for more synchronicity and magic too.
Neptune brings the flow of the inner tides through our consciousness, brings the music of the spheres through our hearts.
If you can stay surrendered and in your heart, not straining your brain for answers, open to the magic, you will be taken into the flow and into the connections that bring all together in Oneness. There you will be shown the signs and symbols, the synchronicities, the magic.
All is possible, win/win is there for all disputes, all seeming problems have solution or at least meaning.
Later in the week, on Friday the 13th, there is a Full Moon in Sagittarius at 12:11 AM EDT. This particular Full Moon is always sorting through the facts and evidence for meaning and solution. This Full Moon contains the Sun in Gemini and the Moon in Sagittarius. Gemini is about information and facts that are sometimes coming in a fast and scattered pace. Sagittarius is about finding meaning and solution. Gemini and Sagittarius, especially during Mercury Retrograde, can bring issues that are very challenging to make sense of at times. Gemini is also mental activity and Sagittarius is intuition and inspiration. So bringing those together to solve problems is important at this Full Moon.
Friday the 13th is sometimes presented in a superstitious way as scary or something to be worried about. This goes back to a prejudice against the Feminine mysteries and Feminine power. 13 is number of the Feminine, as there are 13 lunar “months” of the year while only 12 solar ones. And if Christ had 13 disciples instead of 12, as many believe Mary Magdalene was the 13th, there would obviously be a new Feminine flavor to the Christ story.
And Friday in may cultures is represented by name as Venus Day like in Italian which is Venerdi or even in English which is Frieda Day or Friday, Frieda being a Goddess similar to Venus.
So celebrate the Feminine this Friday the 13th with the Full Moon.
And then on Saturday June 14 Mars begins to trigger the Grand Cross as it square Pluto
So with all the aspects going on, you may be challenged to bring your consciousness and “talents” to the “next level”.
All in all we are now in for a ride into more lively, interesting, spirit evoking energies that may also seem rather scattered, confusing and chaotic at times.
