Much is shifting this week
We jump out of the last quarter phase of the Moon on Tuesday May 15. That is because a new lunar cycle begins with the New Moon in Taurus that day. It is at 7:48 AM EDT.
Before that new moon and after it, there are more energetic shifts.
Before the New Moon in Taurus on the 15th, Mercury conjuncts Uranus while it squares Uranus on Saturday the 12th and Sunday the 13th.
That signifies a wake-up call to move out of stuck places, and it may happen in unexpected or even seemingly irrational ways.
One can be liberated now from old patterns, beliefs, or habits. Go with that wake-up even if it feels uncomfortable or unfamiliar.
This waking up and breaking out energy continues much of the week as Mars squares Uranus on the 16th.
If you have any mental or emotional cobwebs that have stayed in slumber even though Winter has long passed, this week should help sweep them away.
There should be no more reason to put off, or rationalize away, or be distracted from what is real and true for you.
You are being taken out of the old mental boxes of limited and limiting options, in order to see more clearly.
Often old patterns or ego stories keep us locked up in the stuck ruts of the past.
You are in a New Chapter now, and you will be better served with less emotional or mental baggage to carry with you.
You can use this week to shed some of that baggage, as you no longer need to continue Groundhog Day over and over again.
Liberation begins with waking up from old ways. People are always telling me they wish they would have been different when they were younger, doing things differently.
But life does not work that way. We wake up when it is time, and of course planetary movements let us know when it is time.
Uranus is the wake-up planet, and when it is strong in the collective as it is this week, or strong by transit to one’s personal natal chart; that is when energies of liberation from old ways or beliefs is strongest.
And with the New Moon in Taurus happening along with the Uranus movements, we can take our next steps forward in our life’s journey.
This New Moon in Taurus coincides with so many important events in the Middle East and more specifically in Israel/Palestine.
Gaza is in much turmoil now; Palestinian Nakba Day is the 15th, symbolizing the 700,000 Palestinians who became homeless in 1948. The Muslim holiday Ramadan begins on the 16th and Israel celebrates the 70th anniversary of it modern birth on the 14th.
And most importantly, Trump has moved forward with his plan to move the USA embassy in Israel to Jerusalem, beginning on Monday the 14th.
It has been in Tel Aviv for many years; so yes it is a Uranus movement of breaking out of how things used to be. But this is also bringing up much rage in the Palestinian and Muslim communities who see this move as a USA statement of making Jerusalem Israel’s property. Jerusalem is considered sacred to Jews, Christians and Muslims.
Much of the transformation of our Earthly human community out of an Old Age is focused on the Middle East where so many religions and early civilizations were formed.
This is where so much now seems unsolvable, and so it is likely to ignite into a powerful place of transformation, as early as this year. Many cultures and religions have envisioned an end of the old world and a rising of a new world at the End Times.
And many of those old cultures and religions believe this will be centered in the Middle East.
This coming Summer Eclipse Season has 3 eclipses and they are very connected to the charts of Israel, Iran, and Syria. Much will be stirring up in those places this summer.
Also happening soon is the summit between USA and North Korea. June 12 this year is the chosen date. It will be in Singapore
That day is one day before the New Moon in Gemini and 2 days before Trump’s birthday.
But most importantly, it is conjunct the USA natal Mars, which can only happen once a year. Mars is the god of war, so symbolically it does not seem like a good day for such a summit.
But right now it does appear that we are all moving toward peace with this summit, so maybe there is something I am not seeing in the symbols.
Yet historically, triggers to that same degree (21 degrees Gemini) have shown events like the beginning of World War II for America and John Kennedy’s assassination.
The Old Age and its decaying ways are in the process of dying and its death may be painful.
Do not get engulfed in the stories and dramas and fears that will come from the coming events. Be aware of what is happening, but do so as an observer not a participant.
Now we will need more and more to focus on the knowledge that we live in a meaningful Universe, one that is filled with love and truth, and is in transition into an Age of Aquarius.
Where we focus our energy now is important. We can more ably focus on the love and truth of the Age of Aquarius, as we let go of the old beliefs and patterns that were drummed into us from the programming of our families and culture.
That programming perpetuates the ways of the Old Age and Old Paradigm. It keeps us in patterns that are toxic and dysfunctional, filled with fear and mistrust, enemies and separateness.
The coming storms will clear out the deadwood and create space for our new world’s ways.
As you clear out the old, magic and synchronicity come more alive, your life feels more meaningful and purposeful, and you get more comfortable being authentic and receptive to love.
This week provides us with the Uranus wake-ups and the New Moon in Taurus forward movement.
Those beginnings are potentially quite solid, as is Taurus. Those Taurus movements forward may also be rather slow. Taurus themes of land, home, money, resources, nature, one’s body and nourishment are likely now. Enjoy the pleasures of the body and the senses and solidify whatever you have previously envisioned or recently begun.
Uranus is not only in aspect to Mars and Mercury this week. It also makes its entry into Taurus after being in Aries for the last seven years. This year it will temporarily go back into Aries late this year and early in 2019.
Then is March 2019 it moves firmly into Taurus for the next 7 years. The last time Uranus was in Taurus was in 1935- 1942. Uranus has an approximate 84 year cycle.
Themes from back then will resurface during the next 7 years or so.
So much has been shifting and changing for all of us lately, both collectively and personally. Yes change can be challenging, yet the more we can dance with it instead of fearing and fighting it, the better off we will be.
Transformation cannot be stopped now, but the great opportunity is for better lives, better relationships, more passion and aliveness, more magic and meaning, more love and connection.
