Earlier this morning of Saturday November 22 2014 at 7:30 AM EST there was a New Moon in Sagittarius. It is truly on the cusp between Scorpio and Sagittarius, though certainly Sagittarius. It was at 0 Sagittarius 07.
If you have been in a depression or in a funk or just feeling kind of down or negative, this New Moon in Sagittarius should give you a spark of renewed life and maybe even joy.
This fiery New Moon turns the ignition for the new chapter on our lives, post Autumn Eclipse Season. With all the important and powerful planetary movements in 2014, including the most important Cardinal Grand Cross, this is a very meaningful time period coming up.
That New Moon ignition starts our journey into a “new normal” as the old sense of “normal” is dying to leave our consciousness. Stop trying now to go back to how it used to be. That chapter has closed and pushing against locked doors can only cause stress, frustration and exhaustion.
Since this New Moon is truly on the cusp and thus does include some Scorpio influence, we can expect the remnants of the past to cry for attention. Do you truly need to still find resolution or healing from what has happened in the past? Or is it time for those traumas and ghosts of the past to just be released, to turn your back on them even if not 100% resolved or healed.
If those old wounds just bring you more drama without satisfaction, over and over again; then it is time to just release and trust a better chapter is on the way.
Yes trust and faith are important now as we enter Sagittarius territory. You will have the fires of inspiration and meaning at your disposal now. Just open your mind and heart for them and they will be there.
Please keep in mind that the true new lunar cycle begun at this New Moon in Sagittarius is not energetically alive until after the first sliver of lighted Moon can be viewed. So that will happen either tonight or tomorrow night. Afterwards the light of initiatory fire will be lit and events that are natural to occur in this New Chapter of life will erupt. In the meantime it is a good time to meditate or pray, to use visualization and make intention.
In the greater world, the Cardinal Grand Cross and associated planetary movements this year brought with them Islamic State; Ukraine/Russia crisis; Ferguson Missouri racial tensions; Israeli/Palestinian violence; immigration bill standstills in America; the Ebola virus becoming serious; and attempts to solve the crisis with Iran’s nuclear program.
These events are all important in ushering in a new chapter of global life, a new normal for world distribution of equality and power, and a stronger road forward to the Age of Aquarius.
Though it often seems we are going backwards, and deeper into “us versus them” hatred and violence; we are instead breaking down the old structures and beliefs that keep us stuck in the past.
The old establishment is fighting for its life to keep alive the “old normal”, but this cannot last except on life support systems that will eventually fail. So many more people now are awakening to the dysfunctionality and toxicity of that old world.
All these powerful events that have erupted this year show us how much we are all connected all over this world, and only by realizing this and working together can we create a new world. It is the “us versus them” mentality that breeds hatreds, bigotries, and feelings of superiority or inferiority.
Whether we are talking about Ebola or immigration or Ferguson Missouri, etc.; it is the sense of being unified in one big family that will save us. Aquarius is about community based on accepting and honoring the distinct individualities of humanity. Diversity into Unity is the Age of Aquarius.
So this week after the New Moon, many of those world events that broke open into our awareness earlier this year will find direction forward this week after this Sagittarius New Moon:
President Obama just took executive action to push the immigration issue forward. The fallout of that will begin this week.
Ferguson Missouri is on the verge for this coming week of having the Grand Jury determine if police officer Wilson will stand trial or not. Potential riots and protests loom.
The deadline for Iran’s nuclear talks to be resolved is Monday November 24. How that turns out is extremely important in Middle East affairs.
Russia has just brought its troops back into Ukraine and it is likely something will happen after this New Moon there.
4 Israeli/Americans were killed by Palestinians this past week and the mood is in a tinder box of intense emotions now.
And it is also likely that events surrounding the Islamic State will come alive this week.
And your personal life is also ready now to move more fully forward to a new future, a new Chapter of Life, a new normal. This current lunar cycle, begun at the Sagittarius New Moon of November 22, inspires us to have the faith to take new adventures.
This new lunar cycle lasts until the Winter Solstice on December 21, which is also the day of the next New Moon, which will be in Capricorn. During this now current lunar cycle we will encounter the powerfully transformational Uranus/Pluto square on December 14/15.
So we can expect an eventful and meaningful time period ahead. Keep your head and heart, as much as possible, awake and alive to the “new normal”, not the familiar though dying “old normal”.
This year has caused major breakdowns of that which held up the structures of our “old normal” so we can begin to embrace a new chapter of our lives. This does not mean that the old chapter was necessarily bad or good. It just means that the cycle of our life is turning to a new season, and acceptance is helpful to us.
Accepting this reality is important to your health and your personal evolution. You are leaving old ego dramas that keep you a victim and/or keep you from the authentic being you are ready to more fully embrace. You are on this Earth for reasons other than doing what you are supposed to do and then dying. Oh and taking vacations and playing with toys to take off the pressure.
You are a soul in a body, on a meaningful journey on this sacred Earth and in this Universe of cycles, symbols and synchronicities. You are returning to Love and Truth, the reasons why life exists at all.
