2018 Summer Eclipse Season has ended, and late this week Summer itself will end.
As the curtain comes down on the summer of 2018, we find ourselves in a personal New Chapter of our lives.
That New Chapter is much more than the ending and beginning of nature’s seasons.
It is truly about entering a new and important era of our personal lives.
And it is truly about entering a new and important era of our collective life, both our global and American lives.
Most important in this new era is that this new era has at its core the values you believe in.
Then after you have put your heart values and mental principles as your guiding light in this New Chapter, you have automatically built the foundation for the New Chapter you are entering and building.
Have you totally accepted this new era of your life? Do you recognize you are truly in a new era or chapter of your life?
I know everything is feeling different inside for many. The usual connections inside each of us are shifting. The old normal inside us is gone.
And of course our personal lives are the micro to the macro of our greater world and Universe.
And as the wheels of the Universe turn into new territory, so too are we personally turning into new territory.
And as the societies of America and the world change, as they are beginning to do rather drastically, each of our souls is also being called to make deep transformational change.
It is obvious that the United States is slowly leaving its soul, and forgetting about the lofty principles it was founded on.
So deep transformation into an Age of Aquarius requires each of us individually and all of us collectively to make sure we are living by these standards.
Our “better angels” can guide us forward through this new terrain now.
Our American lives are so in the middle of deep transformation. And the culture wars in the United States are bringing out the worst in people, on both sides.
People will lie and cheat to make sure their chosen agenda will win. To them the end justifies the means. Do you believe that?
Hitler believed that exterminating those who did not fit his paradigm for how the new human should be and look like was OK to do.
“Kill or be killed” is how our politicians are thinking and acting now. The bloody fight, over who the next Supreme Court Justice will be, is way over the top.
We need to return to our deeper values and deeper sense of what is right and wrong now.
The picture is much bigger and deeper then judges or political parties or religions.
Yes we need to stand up for what we believe, but we do not need to demonize and crush those who believe differently. Trust me, those people you are demonizing also demonize you. That alone should tell us something important. They believe what you stand for is evil and wrong, as you believe about them and their values.
We are on the verge of total war between American cultures, and total war between countries too. And demonizing is what governments tend to do before attacking. It was Saddam Hussein, then Gadafi, then Kim Jong Un, and now Bashar Assad president of Syria. And it will keep going after others whose countries we want to bring into our vision of how a country or culture or person should be.
This is how religions often act too. Each one believes it has found “The Way”. and their god is the true god.
Respecting each other’s differences is so Age of Aquarius, and that attitude shows the best of being Aquarius.
Now Trump is on the verge of real action from people who want to get rid of him as president.
And of course he is not a great example of being American, human, or a man.
Nevertheless, our very deep problems in America will not be eliminated if Trump leaves office. The Pence administration might make the culture wars exacerbate even more.
Trump’s presence has brought these culture wars for the soul of America come out in the light for all to see.
But the war will still be alive until we the people realize that all these people, no matter what agenda they carry, are Americans, and even more importantly Humans.
The Middle East is really on the edge of great conflict now, so let us hope leaders will pull back from that edge.
This week we are in the 2nd quarter phase of the lunar cycle that began at the Virgo New Moon on September 9. So energies are waxing in the lunar cycle, allowing us to feel we are moving forward in its regard.
But the solar cycle is about to show us an important turning point in the year, a turning point that points us to more yin or dark energies.
That solar cycle take us to the Autumn Equinox, which begins the time of Sun in Libra.
Autumn Equinox is on Saturday September 22 at 9:54 PM EDT.
Light and dark, yin and yang, male and female are equal at the Autumn Equinox. Yet right after that moment, darker, more yin and female energies begin to expand their presence.
Metaphorically Autumn Equinox is like a sunset time of day, in between light and dark.
The Sun’s yearly voyage through Libra begins at the Autumn Equinox also.
Most aptly with the Autumn Equinox, Libra is the scales of balance, scales of justice too.
Libra is most drawn to relationship, the “best” ways of being social or being in a society.
It seeks all to be lovely and fair, and it can be a great mediator or diplomat.
Is is usually very accommodating of others, sometimes to a fault as it often loses its Self in the process.
Libra really cares about things being fair or just, and about issues working for everyone, not just one person. Libra is quite able to make everything symmetrical and color coordinated and pretty too. It likes things to be pleasant and peaceful.
So as this coming week comes to an end at the Autumn Equinox, it is a time to begin to shift away from more self centered attitudes and ways of being.
Instead it is time to listen better to others, to think of social values, to be more peaceful and ready to negotiate or compromise.
Perhaps out in the world, in America, in the Middle East, and elsewhere, there will be attempts to work harder to make peace and harmony between people.
There could be some surprises or shocks coming early to mid week, as Mars in Aquarius squares Uranus late Tuesday.
That is meant to be some kind of wake up call that shows how to think and move “outside the box”. That wake up call may tend to show new ways to solve old problems.
Mars/Uranus contacts also can show rebellious behavior, and radical action. World events that shake things up and get us thinking differently than we are used to are more likely than usual.
