Being Sane at Times of Change and Astrology Forecast March 20-26

by Leo Knighton Tallarico

There is a plethora of important planetary movements this week.

This week could bring a turning point in one’s life, or a crossroads for some issue.

Most importantly there is a Lunar Eclipse Full Moon in Aries/Libra Wednesday the 23rd at 8:01 AM EDT.

That same day Jupiter will square Saturn, as Saturn is slowing down as it changes directions to Retrogarde on March 25.  That makes Saturn especially strong.

As such there is a grounded pull downward, a focus toward “getting down to business”,  taking responsibility, organizing or disciplining oneself. The value of logic increases.

There could also be an important decision that needs to be made or a commitment to something important.

There may also be a feeling of fate, that something was meant to be.

The Lunar Eclipse will tend to shake things up out of same-old, same-old status quo, overly comfortable ways of living one’s life.   It is getting to be time to move on regardless if things have been figured out or not.

Since this is a Full Moon in Aries/Libra, there will be a focus on relationship.  That focus will include looking to find a balance between taking care of one’s own needs on the one hand; and taking care of the other person and the relationship on the other hand.

Have we previously focused too much on ourselves- or instead have we been overly accommmodating of the other person in relationship?

If you have been more caretaker than taking care of your own needs, then it is time to find a balance and take care of your self more.

If instead you have been overly focused on your self and not considering enough the other person, then it is time to listen to your friend or mate more.

Aries is about being true to oneself, which is a natural way to be.   Why would we not want to be true to our own authenticity and needs.

Libra is about listening and honoring someone else and the relationship.  It takes an attitude like that to keep a relationship healthy.

So where is the balance found?  Does one of you take care of themselves while the other person tends to the relationship?

It is time to work this out in different, more healthy ways

And Saturn helps to ground everything and to help you focus on committing to try hard to make it all work.

With Jupiter square a focal Saturn this week, it is no time to expand or fly high into anything.  Saturn is a sobering influence, so to speak, and it prevents one from being flighty or airy-fairy.

It is a good week to be real about whatever we think, say or do.

Relationships of all kinds are in the spotlight this week, so relationship between countries or world leaders could be strained and made to be quite real this week.

Saturn should stop anything from getting too out of control this week. Eclipses bring powerful and intense energies of change our way, energies that cause breakdowns of old ways and breakthroughs into new ways of thinking or being.

And that will be true with this week’s Eclipse too, but Saturn should keep you more  focused than at the last eclipse in Pisces.

In the greater world, issues that were previously unresolved or fuzzy or unknown will get clearer and known.

The presidential primaries should bring a more clear idea of who has won or lost.  Also fate may step in with serious repercussions, like if the email scandal for Clinton brings indictments; or if Trump or someone else has some scandal to deal with.

Communication will also be an important issue this week, as Mercury makes stromg aspects to the Sun and Mars on the 23rd and 24th.

Sun conjunct Mercury in Aries suggests we speak openly, with frankness, straight forward and direct.

But if too direct, without consideration for how a person will receive the information, there could be hurt feelings and defensiveness.

So say your piece but be sensitive to the people you are relating to.

This Full Moon Lunar Eclipse being in Aries/Libra also suggests a question of going to battle or making peace.  In Syria, Lebanon, Israel, Palestine, Iran, Iraq, and North and South Korea this war or peace Eclipse could play out.

In your own life, is it right to be confrontative or better to keep quiet for the sake of having peace.

Or better yet is there a way to state your truth with a velvet glove of soft words?

This week could clear the way so you can soon find direction, clarity, and answers.  But most importantly, this week is a turning point.

It will tend to help us from going over the same mental tapes over and over again without resolution.

As I believe Einstein said- paraphrased,”If you do things the same way over and over again always looking but never finding better results, you are insane”.

It is time to stop the knee jerk habit of repeating the same words or phrases or questions over and over again. We are having the same conversations but nothing ever changes.

If we truly want different more healthy results we need to have the courage to think and act outside the old boxes.  Take chances and get out of old patterns that are ready to die at this Lunar Eclipse New Moon.

There is a feeling of security or stability that keeps us doing the old familiiar ways over and over again.

Now is the opportunity to change while good old Saturn keeps things grounded and sane.

The world is changing so fast now, and we cannot keep alive old rotted patterns except to our detriment.   As the old world keeps trying to keep the old ways, it decays and falls apart-  And so do we, if in our personal lives we try to keep the old and tired ways alive on “life support systems”.

Till next week,

Leo
