We are in the first quarter of the lunar cycle after the Leo New Moon last Friday. Creative juices are flowing, trusting one’s heart to lead the way should be easier now. It is time to enjoy the summer, to be in the moment, to have fun.
In the middle of this week, there will be subtle, or perhaps for some a not so subtle shift, as the Sun moves into Virgo on Wednesday August 22. Thoughts begin to creep in about getting back to business, back to school, doing repairs, fixing the teeth, etc. Virgo can be a bummer after Leo fun-time. Virgo is grounded and seeks to simplify and be more humble than the royal Leo Lion who roars to get attention. So this week is good to begin to move toward getting things back in simple order, but don’t rush to it, as there is still more summer play time.
The intensity meter will go up appreciably in mid-September, when the Uranus/Pluto square forms again for a second time this year. Pluto will be strong then as it will be changing direction back to Direct at that time. That square will be at almost 7 degrees of Aries and Capricorn, so if you have planets at 5-9 degrees of Aries, Cancer, Libra, or Capricorn you will be motivated to take a leap forward in your transformational process. Letting go of the past and embracing change will be important surrounding the time in mid-September.
Middle East tensions, political passions, and economic worries will be strong at that time. Powerful events surrounding those issues are quite possible then. That mid-September time and November/December are the likely times for big world events surrounding those subjects.
In fact November will be a blockbuster of a month, with Mercury retrograde on Election Day, two Eclipses, and Mars triggering the Uranus/Pluto square. By the end of November we will have a lot stronger sense of what the meaning of the Mayan Calendar ending on December 21, 2012 will be.
Will it be another dud like Y2K, or will be as powerful a shift as many Mayan experts are telling us? Since November is laden with powerful planetary movements, the Middle East is boiling, the economy is fragile, the USA presidential election will be decided, and there is obviously such dysfunction and toxicity in the mainstream world; it is not difficult to imagine world events that will shake up our lives leading up to that Mayan calendar ending.
Rest assured that those events are part of the process of a shifting of ages. The old world and all its institutions are dominated by Big Corporate and Big Government. Organized Religion is also a part of the controls by State and Corporations. In Russia this week, the young female rock group Pussy Riot was arrested and sentenced to two years in prison for making protest inside the largest Orthodox church in Russia. It was protesting against the alliance between Big Religion and the State of Russia run by Vladamir Putin. Putin is poised to take more freedoms away from the people of Russia with a growing dictatorship.
And in London, Julian Assange is fighting for his freedom against western powers who seek to shut up him and his Wiki-leaks creation, which is providing previously secret information to citizens of the world. Ecuador is giving Assange sanctuary in its embassy in London, but Britain has threatened to defy international law and storm the embassy to get Assange, who is wanted for trial in Sweden for rape. Most people see this rape charge as trumped up in order to put the free speech leader Assange away.
These two events show us, along with the Occupy Wall Street movement, which is still alive, that people are beginning to stand up to the Old World Powers that seek to keep in shackles the free hearts, souls, and minds of humanity.
The coming world events will further break down the walls of control of the citizens of this world. The Aquarian Age is an age of power to the people of the world, and the development of world equality, liberation, and Diversity in Unity.
Of course we will discuss more and more on this forecast blog over the next several weeks the planetary aspects, world events, and personal healing and transformation for these times. We will talk about how best to navigate the changes too.
I will make prediction in September about the presidential election in November , as I am now much closer to having an opinion of how it will likely go. Of course we do all vote, but astrology can show us trends and point to a likely outcome, though people with their will as seen through the vote can shift the tide in my estimation. I will also do some radio streaming broadcasts and likely some U-Tube presentations in October and November.
But this week, before the storms of September and even greater storms of November, enjoy Leo play. Mid week is the beginning of wanting to put more serious order to life again with the Sun in Virgo. And on Thursday, action oriented Mars leaves peace and harmony seeking Libra and enters intense and passionate Scorpio. It will be there for the Democratic and Republican conventions from August 27- September 7.
So after August 23rd, Mars will be aligned for the next month and a half to be more active in pursuing your passions. Time to stop holding your life’s cup with the pinky finger limply help out. It will be time this week to stir up some trouble brew and say and do what you have been holding back. Life is more civil with Mars in Libra, it is true; but with Mars in Scorpio the tendency will be to do what is the core of truth for you, even if it ruffles some feathers. World leaders and countries will also be more likely to take off the gloves of polite discourse.
