Here in the Northern Hemisphere, as we pass through the day of Winter Solstice, we now face Winter Season. For my “down-under” readers, I wish you well as you have just entered your Summer Season.
All of us are now into a new Eclipse Season, with the first of two eclipses showing on January 5/6. It is Solar Eclipse New Moon in Capricorn.
And we better put on our seat belts, because the Eclipse Season roller-coaster is already moving intensely.
The USA is now experiencing a government shutdown over funding for a border wall with Mexico. Trump is saying he will do most anything to get his wall financed. Hence the partial Government shutdown.
The stock market is rapidly moving downward, something readers of Perspectives from the Sky have known was coming.
The proof needed for moving toward impeachment is getting stronger from the Mueller investigation. And Democrats taking over Congress in 2019 are likely to move toward impeachment proceedings.
North Korea made a statement this week that strongly stated they will not unilaterally take down their nuclear program. That was a big shift in USA/Korea affairs. Other hot spots like Israel and the Middle East are also heating up.
Trump stated pretty firmly this past week that he is going to withdraw the USA military from Syria, and likely also from Afghanistan.
Yes Trump is a narcissistic, vindictive, child much of the time. But come on, how can we be against these troop withdrawals? We should never have invaded or bombed Syria (nor should we any other country that has not attacked us first). So why are so many “progressives” against Trump’s decision on Syria?
If it is just because you do not like Trump, that is not a good reason to oppose this Syria move is it? Yes I do realize this decision may be largely due to Trump’s bromance with Putin and collusion with Russia, who is a strong ally with Syria. But nevertheless, we are taking troops out of harm’s way and getting out of the business of being in a country we were not invited into.
This all seems like a part of the movement into a Diversity within Unity new world paradigm, where there are no more superpower countries or Empires. There are instead countries equal in value to one another, working in community with one another, and yet respecting one another to find their own identity with self determination as an individualized culture.
I have been witnessing much growth and consciousness expansion in many people since this Eclipse Season began. There is a stronger commitment to stay on their soul path.
And I have seen much releasing of old tapes and stories that have previously been ingrained in minds and hearts.
We are each a microcosm of what is going on in the Universe, world and country. We are each transforming and evolving so we can meet the new energies and adapt to what is needed in this new world, so we can each fulfill our purpose and destiny this time around.
Keep in mind as this Eclipse Season progresses that what we are seeing in the world is not merely problems to be solved according to whatever agenda or “team” we identify with.
We are truly in transition between ages, and each of us is finding our own way through it, and our place within it.
Our challenges come to us so we can transform and evolve, and while doing so fulfill a purpose within the greater community.
I do not mean this purpose needs to be something “important” or grandiose. To some extent I simply mean finding one’s authentic Self and expressing it. You may work in a grocery store and have evolved into someone who brings kindness, warmth, hope, or joy to people who come in shopping.
Or you may be a parent who raises their children with love and loving guidance.
These times of transformation, like now during an Eclipse Season, can help you to release old traumas, wounds, and stories that have limited your ability to find youurself and fulfill your purpose.
This week, we move into the second and waning half of the current lunar cycle. That is so because a Cancer Full Moon happened on December 22.
Now we go more yin-ward in anticipation of our first eclipse on January 5. So we have turned the corner, next stop the Solar Eclipse New Moon in Capricorn.
So this holiday week should be a relatively peaceful one this year. The caveat is that Eclipse Season is getting closer to the first actual eclipse on January 5.
So intensity may increase as a result.
I will driving from Maine to Sedona Arizona starting on Thursday December 27, so will not be writing next week’s Perspectives. I will pick up again on the day of the actual first eclipse January 5.
That eclipse is a Solar Eclipse New Moon in Capricorn at 8:28 PM EST. The next day wake-up call Uranus will be going Direct. Its chain-breaking, liberating, transforming energy will thus be pretty strong during the days surrounding the eclipse.
When Uranus goes Direct, all planets will be Direct, suggesting time to move forward on all cylinders.
And that Capricorn Solar Eclipse New Moon will be quite important and strong as both Pluto and Saturn will be conjunct it.
Pluto is the Guardian of the Underworld and Saturn rules gravity. So the usually rather low key and even boring Capricorn New Moon will instead be rather powerful.
It will be great for endings; transforming old structures into new ones; releasing old stories and beliefs; making commitments; making firm resolutions; tearing down walls of over-protection; making and organizing plans; having discipline to do what you need to do; setting goals you will accomplish; manifesting what has previously only been dreams or ideas.
There is a destructive energy that comes from Pluto/Saturn connections, so stay alert to what in your life may need to die.
This Capricorn Solar Eclipse is rather closely opposing the USA natal Sun in Cancer and square its Saturn in Libra.
The issues that came from events this last week concerning Syria and the Middle East, the stock market and economy, impeachment, North Korea, and government shutdown over a border wall will intensify.
Breakdowns of old ways and breakthroughs into new ways is a theme for this Eclipse Season. Trust the process, and resist falling into crippling fear or negativity. Have a mantra like “all is happening for a higher meaning, all is part of a needed transformation into a healthier and more satisfying life.”
On New Year’s Eve. still before the actual Solar Eclipse, Mars leaves tentative Pisces for action oriented Aries where it will stay until February 14.
This Mars in fiery Aries combined with Jupiter in fiery Sagittarius, can provide the motivation, stimulation, inspiration, and confidence to move forward in a positive way.
