We dip down deeper now, into Scorpio’s depths of emotion, of emotional intensity. That intensity can sometimes mean pain. Pain and suffering are not the goal of Scorpio. They are the process oftentimes. The “goal” is passion of the soul, of instinctual power.
We are in the process of transformation into a consciousness aligned with a growing Aquarian Age. Pluto, the ruler of Scorpio is one of three planets accorded the job of transforming our consciousness on the road to an Aquarian Age. Uranus and Neptune are the other two transformational planets.
These more divine emissary planets break down our attachment to the programming of our families and culture to the old world and age. They bring us into the fresh and enlightened frequencies of Aquarian Age consciousness.
Uranus liberates us from the past’s shackles and brings us to more inventive and creative ways of thinking and being. It brings us to the higher mind’s lights of truth.
Neptune dissolves the old barriers and helps us to surrender our egos to the flow of the Universe. It helps us to connect with higher love, empathy and compassion.
Neptune and Uranus carry us far away from our upbringing and our primal instincts in order to help us break the old patterns of of a dog eat dog old paradigm.
Pluto, the ruler of Scorpio, in its assistance to help us to transform out of the old age mentality and into the new, ironically brings us back to our passions and primal instincts.
Transformation into an Aquarian Age is not a journey to be a good person, in a religious sort of way. The journey is to be an authentic individualized person, one who honors its creation.
Old time religion tries to convince us we are flawed, even telling us we come into this world with original sin. New Aquarian principles honor the complete human, the yin/yang of being human, each of us both dark and light, male and female, yin and yang. We strive in our transformation to integrate all our facets of being into wholeness.
So in our journeys to move past the toxic old ways that seek to dominate the Earth and one another, old ways that reward greed and selfishness, we cannot “throw out the baby with the bathwater”.
As we seek to be immersed in light and love, we do not want to leave behind a central theme of being human. We humans are part divine and part creature. Uranus and Neptune help us to reclaim that divinity.
Pluto helps to bring us back around, like a coiled snake, to our primal roots. We remember we are creatures and we honor our passions and instinctual body and appetites.
And after we have risen to the heights of our mental and spiritual connections, we are ready to join again wth our Scorpionic passions.
These Pluto/Scorpio passions may sometimes make us feel as if we have gone backwards into old passions and appetites that are destructive. But we are merely reconnecting with the night of our consciousness, the darkness of our shadows and primordial roots. We have gone full circle and are more whole.
Pluto was discovered in 1930. When a planet is discovered its meaning is seen below here on the Earth in our human happenings: As Above, So Below.
When Pluto was discovered, powerful people like Hitler and Capone and Stalin, FDR and Churchill walked the Earth. The power of the atom was being realized by humanity and later became the nuclear bomb. Pluto is primitive power.
Ghandi also walked the Earth in 1930 and at that time led the protests that brought down the English Empire in India. He was one of the first to show the power of peaceful civil disobedience.
Ghandi showed us that being empowered, that being in one’s power, when connected to the divine aspects of one’s spirituality, can change the world in a positive way.
Now more than ever, as we live the revolutionary movements, like the Occupy Wall Street protests, we will need our individual and collective power, in peace, to change this world, in alignment with the Universe’s cycles, into a New Aquarian Age. Peaceful civil disobedience will change this world.
So allow this Scorpio time of year to help you to empower your self through the process of your inner depths. If you have been pushed into your emotional pain from the slings and arrows of others, do not think it is spiritual to be a “nicey-nicey” person and take it. You do not deserve to be treated badly and your being a suffering martyr will not help you in your transformational and healing process.
Honor your Self and claim your power. If you allow your self to be walked on and trampled, you are not going to some heaven for being a good person. You instead will be going to your own mental and emotional hell.
You do not have to be mean and nasty, but you do need to put up your boundaries and let people know you respect your self. And if you do need to get mean and nasty, perhaps you need to get that way in order to reclaim your strength. Later you can learn how to express in a more balanced way.
This Scorpio lunar cycle we are currently in, which began on October 26 at the New Moon in Scorpio, will help you to get more in touch with your deeper emotions and persoanl empowerment, which might mean some pain too for some.
This Scorpio lunar cycle ends with the Solar Eclipse New Moon in Sagittarius on November 25. There is another eclipse on December 10, a total Lunar Eclipse Full Moon in Gemini.
We are on the cusp of the Eclipse season now and energies and events will intensify between now and that first eclipse on November 25.
Allow your self to get taken off our normal balance, and to allow the winds of change to blow in. There may be breakdowns of old ways that no longer work for you, and breakthroughs into new consciousness and ways of being.
