This past week we entered a whole New Chapter of both our collective and personal lives.
That does not mean that it has been or will be smooth sailing now. In fact for many people there were already obstacles to work through after that New Moon in Aries last week.
Gravity ruling, “stop sign” Saturn was especially strong last week too. And though Mercury went Direct on the same day as the New Moon in Aries, for many people full clarity has not been found yet.
It takes Mercury several days after it has gone Direct to return to its usual speed, and during that time the fog may just slowly lift from our view ahead.
Make no mistake however, we have turned a corner, and are now moving forward in a new phase of life.
There is some purging to be done now, however, as Pluto has been slowing down in order to go Retrograde on Sunday April 22.
So we have been experiencing Pluto’s energy the last couple of days and will continue to do so much of this coming week.
Pluto is a very passionate and intense ruler of the underworld, and as such brings us down into the subconscious so we can be more more conscious of what is needing to be experienced and hopefully released.
If you are drawn this week to look at the past, past events, and past patterns of thought and behavior, it is happening so you can release, let go of what is not in alignment in this New Chapter.
You do not need anymore the same old inner stories that have become heavy baggage in your consciousness and life.
So use this time now to let go of your grip on that which is weighing you down psychologically, emotionally, spiritually and/or physically.
We will in late Spring be moving much more rapidly through this New Chapter, which is in essence a new frequency and dimension in our consciousness.
But for this week, Pluto changes directions Sunday the 22nd, and then on Thursday the 26th Mars collides in conjunction with Pluto in Capricorn. This is potentially a very intense and powerful meeting between these two planets.
And approximately 3 days before that Mars in Capricorn sextiles Jupiter in Scorpio.
Those two planetary events trigger the Jupiter sextile Pluto aspect of April 14, which formed a Yod or “finger of god” with the USA natal Mars.
Less than a day before that Yod, Syria was bombed by western nations, which points the finger to potential war in the Middle East.
But on the contrary, peace ostensibly looks more promising in Korea, as North Korea made some big compromises prior to its coming meetings with South Korea and the USA.
This week North Korean and South Korean leaders meet in a summit on April 27. With the triggering of the Yod this week, we will get a better sense of where the finger is pointing on the Korean Peninsula- toward or away from USA conflict.
Of course the issue of gun ownership, and the issue of police killings of black men are also part of this turning point around the USA Mars in the “finger of god” alignment now. Pay close attention to what direction all these issues are turning toward this week.
In personal lives these Plutonian interactions will tend to bring up old stories and patterns, and could also bring up more volatile emotions, especially between people in relationships.
Please do your best to know these events are happening in order to help to purge what needs to be let go. Perhaps you may feel you are being taken back to old stuff you thought had been resolved or released already.
But what is coming up is not you going backwards, it is instead an opportunity for a deeper cleaning to occur inside your mind and soul.
Also the intensity may be rising in order to help you make transformational breakthroughs that are important on your path through this new phase of life.
The old energies, stories and patterns want to be transformed into new consciousness and ways, and you can be proactive in the process if you stay conscious and aware.
Is it not totally apparent now how much everything is shifting, changing, and transforming? It is beginning to feel like the ’60s and ’70s may have been mild in comparison.
This current wave of change is not for the opportunity to put bandages on old issues so we can later go back into the same old dysfunctional ways.
Our world is transforming in ways we cannot completely comprehend yet. And each of our lives is transforming as part of that process.
Relationships especially may be rocky now, as we navigate balancing our rapid individual growth with trying to stay connected in our relationships.
It may not be totally apparent how to achieve that balance or sometimes even to know whether the relationship will last.
Will the New Chapter keep you together or will it need to bring you on separate paths?
Some of you have already been given some indication which way that is turning now, but others need more time to be able to feel more certain.
This week has some volatility and releasing necessary, but also with the Taurus influence there is a firming up of what has previously begun.
Aries is a force for moving forward, like buds coming through the branches in springtime.
Yet Taurus, where the Sun and Venus are now, stabilizes and allows to blossom what has begun. So for the most part the month of May will stabilize, manifest, and make more solid.
Then in June, with the energies of Gemini strong, we move faster forward through our New Chapter. Events will pour much faster through that portal that was opened at the Aries New Moon conjunct Uranus on April 15.
That was a turning point weekend for us individually and globally.
In May/June we will have a much better sense of where the Trump investigations are going. We will also know much more where the Middle East is going and where the Korean situation is going. There are many important events already scheduled for those months for those issues.
This week also has some lighter energy coming in as Venus leaves Taurus and enters Gemini on Tuesday the 24th. It will stay in Gemini until May 19.
Venus in Gemini brings with it light social interaction, more mental agility in relating, a desire for more talking and communicating, and generally also more flirting and light teasing.
That should lighten the focused intensity this week that will also be present at the usually profound Full Moon experience on Sunday April 29. It is a Scorpio Full Moon which is also called the Wesak Full Moon, often related to the birth of Buddha and Buddha light rays coming through our human experience.

Always keep in mind that the transformation we are experiencing, as challenging as that is sometimes, is bringing us into the consciousness and ways of the Age of Aquarius.
This New Chapter we have entered is an important vehicle in time that is moving us more strongly into the new dimensions and frequencies of that New Age.
