Raging Rivers of Emotions and Astrology Forecast for November 7-13

by Leo Knighton Tallarico

I know many people are feeling very upset about the elections this past week.

So much has changed in 2 years.  Many felt so elated when Barack Obama was elected President; felt that the world was going to transform in a very positive way. They were so tired of the George Bush years. They felt that the election of Obama would bring fresh new beginnings to our country and world.  There is much disillusion now.

Obama inherited a gravely difficult situation.   There was the beginning of a horrible recession. The failure of Leyman Brothers and the subsequent crash of our economy happened a couple of months before his election.   We were locked into two wars. One that was started in Iraq was begun on totally false premises and lies. Much of the world, and especially the Muslim world, had been losing faith in the leadership of America.   Democrats and Republicans were not working well together for the common good.   There was an obvious culture war in America that was getting worse.

Not much has really changed over the last two years. The recession is still looming over our world.  Our role in Iraq appears to be lessening, but we are now more entangled in Afghanistan.  The Muslim world at first seemed open to the new presidency.  But since America is still commited mainly to the welfare of Israel over the Palestinians, and because Americans seem still fearful and hateful toward Muslims, there is not much improvement between cultures.  And Democrats and Republicans still are at war with one another, and still do not make the common good their top priority.   And now with the emergence of the Tea Party, there now is even more culture war than before, or at least more out in the open of the mainstream world.

The Obama administration has accomplishments they point to, but not much has really changed in America.  In fact for most progressives, with the elections bringing in so many more republicans, things may seem worse than ever.

I know I had hoped the Obama election would help us to more gracefully transform out of an old Pisces Age, and to embrace more easily a new Aquarian Age.  But Obama has not been a strong leader or inspiration for new ideas and ways.  He has not set a strong paradigm for where we are headed as an American and human family.   Ex presidents like Franklin Delano Roosevelt and Ronald Reagan set a strong tone and gave strong leadership during critical times in America.   They showed a way that they felt we needed to follow.   They each believed they had captured the pulse of the nation and world, and led accordingly.

Obama has been very gentle and intelligent, respectful and diplomatic.   He has not lit a fire in the American people that inspires new clear direction.  He has not talked directly to us to let us know where he wants to lead.

But these times are so different than before.  The power of special interests and corporations is much more than ever before.  The Military/Economic establishment now does not allow much individual creative input.    The structure of our world is so closed to anything new or outside its rules and regulations.    We hoped Obama was “bigger than life” and could shake up the system, so new lights from the Aquarian Age could shine through.  But he does not seem to be that person.

So now it appears that our collective human journey is about to experience big shocks and aftershocks to break down these old ways and structures that attempt to keep out the light of the a new Paradigm and Age.  Obama always said during his candidacy that “we are the ones we have been waiting for”. Now it is more true than ever before, as we know no single person like Obama will be saving us and leading us forward.

The Pisces Age began with the savior Christ over two thousand years ago.  The Aquarian Age is about the people taking responsibility for their Earth and world. It is about liberating our selves from the modern world kings and queens, liberating ourselves from dictators and governments and corporations and religions that run and dominate our lives.

And now as we enter the time from late October 2010 to late January 2011, we face many astrological aspects that will trigger and release big events that will shake up our world, break down old obsolete ways, and bring breakthroughs into new and better ways.

We will know more and more that we are leaving an old paradigm and age and entering a new paradigm and Aquarian Age.

Astrology report for November 7-13

There was a strong New Moon in Scorpion last night that enflamed people and their relationships.  This New Moon in Scorpio has happened in the middle of the Venus Retrograde in Scorpio time period.  If any of your relationships issues broke open into more intensity around this new moon, you are not alone.   These issues were being suppressed and needed to be brought out into the open.   Now you can work at it from a more real and deeper place.    As Venus leaves Scorpio, while still retrograde, and enters Libra Sunday; you can more calmly and peacefully discuss the issues.  If horrible things were said during this retrograde period, remember much was likely said because you or someone else felt very wounded or rejected. Talking, especially in a counseling setting, can get to real and deeper issues, so you can heal, transform and work it out together.

It is important to remember that we are all so hurt from our families and prior relationships.   We are not taught how to have healthy and functional relationships. With this knowledge we can learn to not be so judgmental of ourselves and others. We can learn to listen and be listened to in more authentic ways.

The Scorpio New Moon of yesterday ignites our emotional energies and expression more.  We will feel more deeply and tend to express more emotionally. The energy field is more intense now and more primal energies and emotions are stoked.

To potentially add to the confusion of our emotions and the direction of our relationships and lives, Neptune is slowing down now and canging from retrograde to direct- overnight Saturday into Sunday.    We do turn our clocks back then also to give the impression of even darker days, as the night comes sooner.  Be careful not to dip into any big depression now, but instead use the increasingly yin energies to be more reflective, more appreciative, more sensitive to others and your own inner world and needs.

Do not push, especially with a prominent Neptune now, for more quick answers and direction. Surrender to the process and let the clarity unfold.    Yielding to the Universe’s movement now will relieve the stress. The river cannot be pushed now to flow at the pace you want it to.

Have a meaningful week,
