The intensity of Spring Eclipse Season 2015 is winding down. On Monday May 11 we move into the last quarter of the lunar cycle that began at the New Moon in Aries on April 18.
It is time to look around at your life and your inner world and to see where you are at now.
Look at your life now from a more common sense and practical viewpoint. What is working and what is not working for you?
What still blocks your ability to move more fully forward? What inner tapes and programmed messages hold you back? What past traumas and hurts keep you from trusting?
You can use this last quarter Moon phase to see how your life is settling as the dust clears from the recent shifts and changes.
Next week there will be a New Moon in Taurus on Monday May 18. And Mercury will go Retrograde that same day, and stay there until June 11. Then after the New Moon in Gemini on June 16, and after Mercury goes back Direct on the 11th, there will bring more active and alive energies for moving forward again.
World events, directly related to the shifts during the Eclipses this year, will then erupt again.
Three important Middle East events during the Spring Eclipse Season this year were the election of Bibi Netanyahu in Israel; the nuclear agreement between world powers and Iran; and the civil war in Yemen that brought in Iran and its foe Saudi Arabia.
The issues from these events will go to a new and more serious level later this spring and early summer.
Netanyahu has put together a small but extremely militaristic coalition government in Israel. It is quite arguably the most conservative, anti Palestinian government put together in that country. And its opposition to the Iran deal brings much danger for war.
The nuclear deal with Iran needs to be finalized by the end of June this year. There is much opposition to this deal among Iran’s hardliners, American hardliners, many Sunni Arab governments and of course Israel.
And in Yemen the Iranian backed Houthis who performed a coup of the previous government are fighting against Saudi Arabia, which has invaded Yemen.
Add to this the grave problems in Syria and Iraq with ISIS and Al Queda and it is obvious that we are at a big turning point in the Middle East.
And after Mercury goes Direct and there is New Moon in Gemini, we can expect events to erupt in the Middle East and elsewhere. Yet the time period to be especially aware of in regards to Israel and the Middle East will be late July/Early August.
Saturn in Scorpio will be going Direct then as Jupiter in Leo makes square to it. Israel’s Natal Mars placement in Leo will be almost exactly made conjunct by Jupiter and squared by Saturn at that time. There will also be a Full Moon in Aquarius around the same time.
For now, however, we go through the waning 4th quarter phase of the Moon this week. Shore up the practical foundational elements of your life in anticipation of more transformational change coming soon. More grounded, common sense ways of being and thinking are aligned now.
This week, besides moving through the 4th quarter moon phase, we see on Monday that Mars leaves earthy body centered Taurus for thought provoking Gemini, where it will stay for until June 24.
Mars in Gemini is very active, inquisitive, and mercurial. You will want to find more interesting pursuits, learning opportunities, and generally fast forward movement.
Mars opposes Saturn in Sagittarius mid week, so fast forward movement will be frustrated by the contraction of Saturn.
And of course we will be moving through a 4th quarter Moon phase this week and Mercury Retrograde next week, so it is a better time for planting Gemini idea seedlings than to blast fast forward with certain plans.
Whatever ideas are planted in your mind this week may need a few weeks to germinate before certain knowing of direction.
After Mercury goes back Direct on June 11 and then there is a New Moon in Gemini on June 16, it will be time to move forward with ideas and plans.
Transformational change does not happen in a straight line of goal setting directness. It happens in a more circuitous manner, where the mystery of deep seated soul intention plays out in its own way.
Transformation is a process of letting go of that which has died in spirit and allowing for new energies and forms to manifest.
We cannot rush the process, yet we are best served if we get out of the way of the energies that want to move through us.
Those new energies bring to us what we need in our transformational journey. Change does not always arrive in the manner or form that we intended, but the essence of what we need is always brought to us.
When intention is made to the Universe, it is best to be in true relationship with the Universe like you would with anyone or anything.
The Universe is not an extension of our relationship with mom or dad, and so our past disappointments with parents cannot rule our transformational consciousness. And sometimes people will make demands of the Universe, telling it they deserve good things because they have been a good person or paid their dues or some such.
But transformation is not for good or bad people but for all souls. We do not get we want because we were a good or bad girl or boy.
Transformation is more about cycles, endings and beginnings, karma, and attracting to our selves that which is based on how we are vibrating, so to speak. Our belief systems, our attitudes, our energy, our soul’s frequency, determines the quality of our transformation.
Our best intention to make is probably one that asks to have happen what is in the best interest of all concerned. And we very likely cannot determine what that is- but the Universe can.
You can know what is no longer aligned with your soul’s journey, and you can know what in essence you need to move into now. But you will be frustrated if you expect a perfect anything or anyone, or if you make material concerns your highest priority.
We are all on a spiritual soul journey which requires material support, not on a material journey that requires the support of spirit.
